It seems that Wilkinson Sword have decided to throw subtlety out of the window.
I say this because previously in razor adverts there was only ever the implication that a close shave would make your more attractive to women. This was usually achieved by a shot of a man (with a cleanly shaven face) and an attractive women stroking it (the face).
Sometimes, they would ramp things up a little with a saucy tag line: “The Best a Man Can Get”. Missus! But that was as far as things went.
Wilkinson Sword, however, decided that Neanderthal man wouldn’t understand the implied connection between shaving and sex. So they came up with the (terribly dubbed) “How was it for you?” campaign. Which, whilst I’m on it, couldn’t have been written by a man for simply reason that since the dawn of time (and the birth of the previously mentioned Neanderthal man) no man has ever uttered the words “How was it to you?” to another man.

I haven't bothered to keep up with the continuing beheading spree in the Evil Kingdom lately, but I happened to come across this brief notice just a few moments ago, and thought I'd include it:
A Saudi man was beheaded by sword on Wednesday after being convicted of firing at a police vehicle carrying inmates and wounding a policeman, a Saudi Interior Ministry statement said. The man, who was named as Hadi bin Ali al-Soliman, was found guilty of firing at a prison vehicle in a bid to help one of the prisoners escape and wounding a policeman in the process, according to the statement.
What the current tally of beheaded sharia victims in Saudi Arabia is, I have no idea.

Sword of the Atom was a strange limited series, ably mixing unlikely genres, but the first special is even more different. Essentially an epilogue to the limited series–the majority of the comic is spent retelling the limited series while introducing different perspectives on the events–it’s a mature comic book about divorce and friendship and love. It’s very strange to see a mainstream comic book–a superhero comic book, not by a prestigious writer–doing such a quiet, different (I already said different twice, didn’t I?) story.
The narrative structure is amusing if not particularly innovative: text from a book about the Atom’s adventures in the limited series provide narration, while there are both scenes accompanying the narration, but also scenes where people are reading the book. There are some particularly nice moments with that device.

Un usuario de los foros de PlayStation ha posteado unas capturas de pantalla de Heavenly Sword en las que se ve que los desarrolladores del juego protagonizado por Nariko han querido rendir homenaje a God of War, que sin duda ha sido una inspiración para ellos. Qué mejor forma de hacerlo que mostrar la armadura y las espadas de Kratos en las paredes de uno de los escenarios. Por cierto, que eso me recuerda que tengo pendientes de compra tanto el título de Ninja Theory como God of War 2. Tantos juegos y tan poco dinero…
