Tra le funzioni più invidiate dagli utenti Windows a quelli Mac, c’è sicuramente exposè. Per chi non sapesse di cosa si tratta, possiamo dire che è una funzionalità integrata in Mac OS tramite la quale vedere riassunte in una sola schermata (ovvero tramite miniature sul desktop) tutte le finestre aperte in quel preciso momento. Quasi inutile dire che data la notevole utilità della funzione, se ne sono diffusi svariati cloni per Windows (più o meno riusciti). Constantes lectores, habrán escuchado ya más de una vez sobre Switcher. No sólo la primera versión (la 1. tantos) fue ya descarga del día, sino que apenas salió el Beta de esta versión que estamos mencionando hoy, fue anunciada inmediatamente. Continuando con apliaciones que den gran utilidad al windows a la hora de trabajar con varias ventenas muestro el siguiente: Switcher 2!.Esta segunda versión de la aplicación añade bastantes mejoras y una nueva funcion más para organizar las ventanas. Pero, ¿Cuál es la gran utilidad de este programa? Como se ve en el video, es una version 1000 veces mejor, por asi decirlo, el clasico alt+tab de windows o incluso mejor del no tan usado winflip 3D de windows vista (win+tab). Other than needing to install keyboard and mouse drivers for my (gasp) Microsoft keyboard and mouse, I have yet to find anything that doesn’t just work. I’d like to accuse all you long-time Mac types of keeping this secret from Windows users, but the truth is that you have been telling us, and we haven’t wanted to hear it. My biggest fear when getting my first Mac was that I didn’t want to become an elitist Mac snob - they drove me crazy. I got a shocker yesterday. My wife’s die-hard, Windows-using relatives are going Mac. Security is the reason. The relatives had it with Windows security, a situation that is really too bad. They never had a chance to see if computing life could have been better beyond Windows 98. The family has replaced both Windows 98 PCs with a Mac mini. The dad said that he was sick of Windows security problems—and he expressed his dissatisfaction with quite a bit of venom. Si tienen una brillante y nueva PC con Windows Vista, lo más probable es que Aero ya venga activado. Qué es Aero? Locale Switcher es una extensión que simplemente nos permite seleccionar el idioma en el que queremos que esté nuestro Firefox. Aunque no parezca demasiado útil, esto nos puede servir para tener en español las versiones optimizadas de Firefox como Swiftfox y las compilaciones para Mac, las cuales se encuentran en inglés. Firefox no incluye una forma intuitiva de acceder a nuestros perfiles. Si queremos abrir el navegador con otro perfil debemos ejecutar 'firefox -p' seguido del nombre del perfil que queremos abrir. O bien 'firefox -p' nos abre el administrador de perfiles donde podemos agregar, quitar o modificar nuestros perfiles de Firefox.Para no tener que hacer esto tenemos la extensión Profile Switcher, que nos agrega una opción de acceder directamente a nuestros perfiles desde el navegador.
