The deal is, Swatch can use the Tiffany name and trademark and, in return, Tiffany gets world-wide distribution and a bigger collection. This is a 20-year deal.
Swatch group already owns Breguet, Blancpain, Omega, and both companies will share in the profits for this latest venture.
But then doesn’t that just make a Tiffany watch a Swatch? Am I cool with that?

Here's another brand that has had a lot of trouble shaking off an 80s image, but that constantly delivers a great and fun product: Swatch.I've been a fan since the 80s, and to this day if I need a new watch, my first choice is always a swatch.Sure I'd love a Cartier, but I can get one of those later on, when I'm older and richer. In the meantime, at an average of $60 a watch, nothing beats a swatch watch. Their variety is something you can't find in any other brand. Some people mistakenly think that all Swatches look the same. You know, with the plastic strap... The funny figurines... The big face, with an 80s look... The pretty colors... The candy-looking ones...The Chronographs... The pretty chronographs... The exotic ones...The Mother's Day onesThe sporty ones... These days I prefer their girly ones with flowers or the ones that wear like a cuffor like a charm braceletand why not hearts?and the "glamorous" ones Do I have a favorite one?Yes. This one. It's called "Sparkling Queen
