Yesterday in Arizona, a hive of bees attacked a construction worker as he cleared land for later development. The worker, who’s name is being kept private, was removing a pile of rubble from the area when he spotted a bee hive underneath. The hive of bees quickly swooped up and attacked the construction worker, knocking him to the ground. There was an estimated couple thousand bees comparing to the size of the bee hive, all attacking his face and neck. How much was Clara down on this , $12,000.00 .How much was Clara out on this, not only the 7,000.00 but much more because the membrane, applied on the one day he did show up with some seemingly questionable workers with smell of alcohol, and improperly installed the membrane that had to be redone at nearly double the price, because of cost of having covered up rotten plywood that all had to be taken up now, in order to find and replace the rotten, plywood covering. The damage was closer to $12,000.00 in the cost of extra materials and labor. I won't mention the additional cost of permits which were to be obtained by this man...You guessed it , In my Monroe County, in Florida this along with Elder Abuse it's called a "civilly matter". I'm not quite sure how they expect us to play these games without a track ball, but Centipede and Millipede are both now available on the Xbox Live Arcade for 400 points. To be honest, I'm rather disappointed so far from what I've played from the two titles. Not only is the movement speed abysmally slow compared to the arcade originals, but the remixed modes bring absolutely nothing new and seem to actually ruin a bit of the general aesthetics of the original games. From my understanding the point of a remix mode is to improve the original game, not make it worst. But somehow, that's exactly what has happened here. Maybe I'm just a bit spoiled since I have a self built Centipede/Millipede cabinet that allows me to play the original arcade game (with trackball) any time I want, but unless you are a glutton for punishment and enjoy your games being played in a pool of molasses, I would probably avoid this one...But it does give me an excuse to post up another random 80's comme

I just got back from the night dive. There were only three of us operators out tonight, but there were plenty of mantas. I stayed up top, but was still able to see 2 or 3 mantas on the surface throughout the time my divers were in the water. Bob guestimated there must've been a dozen or so mantas at the site, it'll be curious to hear the videographers report in the morning to see how accurate that count was... it's been hopping lately at any rate.Here's a shot of a Flagtail Tilefish (Malacanthus brevirostris) I took last month. It's the only shot of one of these guys I've been able to get show up, they tend to dart around when you approach, often diving directly into the sand or under a rock if you get too close. Even if you can get them to stay still, because they are lightly colored and often against the sand, it's tough to expose them close to properly... this shot was more pure luck, with a bit of photoshop thrown in, than anything else.
