An amazing artist I found exhibiting in Asheville, NC is Suzanne Stryk. I'm not sure that the web pictures really do her work justice and if you ever get the chance you should really get to an exhibit of hers.Her website can be visited here and if you can enlarge the pieces and look at the detail in the backgrounds and within the objects.
