I'm frazzled. A relaxing jolly on the train up to Oldham to see the Alex in the second round of the FA Cup would have been perfect, but I was on kiddy party duty! The day of the Super Bowl has basically become a national holiday in America, with parties, get togethers, and all sorts of events that make the game usually take a back seat to everything that goes with it.  With that though, cities across the country fight tooth and nail to land the event each season, and that is why this week three cities are keeping their fingers crossed that they get picked to host the event in 2011. Those three cities are North Texas, Indianapolis, and the site already of this years event - Glendale, Arizona.  The decision will come down tomorrow, and one thing is certain - however gets the big event will be rewarded with the honor of hosting an event that most cities could only dream of.  Plus there is just a slight bit of money involved. Each cities reps will have 15 minutes to tell the NFL’s upper brass why their city should get the big game.  They have already had to submit tons and tons of paperwork with info about the cities hotel rooms and venues

This year the Super Bowl kicks off at the Dolphin Stadium in South Florida February 4th. Whether it's the Bears or the Colts you are rooting for, I'm sure my fellow foodies will agree that the real winner is a "Super Bowl" of food that stand out from the usual fare of chips, dips and chili. While all the football fans out there are contemplating on who will win this year, I, on the other hand, will be contemplating on delivering a winning snack for this year's Super Bowl party.
