If that is the case then I guess Miracles Do Happen! From their 0 - 2 start to Superbowl Champions, I think that says it all - The proverbial "Season To Remember" at least for Giant fans. Bud Light Superbowl Commercials As Fizzy and Light as the Beer Itself!
As in several previous SuperBowls, the biggest single advertiser at this Superbowl XLI was Anheuser-Busch, with nine spots. Their Bud Light brand alone fielded six 30’ commercials. Now, of course, Bud Light is already the market leader of this category. And this may be the reason why they seemed so complacent with their Superbowl advertising.Let us look at Bud Light advertising at this Superbowl

Sneak Peak at 2008 SuperBowl Commercials
Without a doubt, the SuperBowl is this countries singe biggest day for Advertisers. This years SuperBowl spots are running a cheap $2.7 million for 30 seconds. With companies paying such large amounts of money for these ads, you would think everyone would be a hit. But that's not the case with 2008. In fact, many people are saying 2008 SuperBowl commercials may be the worse in years.Godaddy stated back in August that they would not be airing a SuperBowl commercial this year. However, it looks like they changed their minds as they will have a SuperBowl commercial directing people to go their website and view a racy Danica Patrick video. Godaddy says Fox rejected the ad because it's too racy. I don't think their current commercial is all that great. If I'm Godaddy, I'm getting Danica Patrick

Typically the Superbowl instigates parties throughout the land, rife with pick up football games, friendly wagering and, of course, way too much food! The best party ideas for Superbowl Sunday should involve food in them some how. One of the best ideas has been a cook off~bar-b-que style! Early NFL Superbowl Odds AFC -10 Trashed with Colt's Loss
The early NFL odds for the Superbowl was the AFC team to beat the NFC team by 10 points. With the Colts losing to the Steelers, this spread has been trashed. The Colts are known for being a high explosive offense that wins their games large and with them having been the favorite to make it to the Superbowl, the spread was 10. Without them in the playoffs, I guarantee you the spread will no longer be 10 for the AFC team. The Steelers are Broncos are very legitimate AFC teams but public perception goes a long way in inducing NFL Superbowl Odds. In fact, Las Vegas is going to shade the line on the the public team in the Superbowl. I would even go so far as to say that if the Steelers made it to the Superbowl, that they could even be underdogs to the Seattle Seahawks. My advice to anybody in the

The Superbowl Historically AFL-NFL World Championship
The Superbowl is the ultimate championship match for the sport of American football. In the Superbowl, the National Football League (NFL) leading team meets the American Football League (AFL) leading team. The game takes place on Sunday afternoon which has became known as Superbowl Sunday and which has ultimately become marketed and treated as a national holiday. The first Superbowl was held on January 15, 1967. The game was promoted as the AFL-NFL World Championship of Football Game but the cumbersome name didn’t stick. Instead, the unofficial title, the “Superbowl” was used by fans and media. By the third match between the NFL and AFL in 1969, the name was officially changed to the Superbowl. The Superbowl is probably best known for its advertisements than the actual football games.

Superbowl Recap: What Does 18-1 Really Mean?
18-1. What does it mean? Sure, I was rooting for the Giants Sunday and sure I rooted against the Patriots almost any chance I got the entire season. However, what do we owe to 18-1? Is the season marked by the Superbowl loss?Unfortunately for the Patriots, they will forever be remembered as the team to go undefeated and lose in the Superbowl. It took 35 years to have another undefeated team with a perfect record going into the superbowl and it might be another 35+ before we see it happen again. It is indeed very possible that they go down as the only NFL team to EVER go 18-0 and lose in the superbowl in the history of the world. At a wide look, a Super Bowl loss looks bad for this Patriot dynasty. The '70s Steelers 4 for 4 in their Super Bowl appearances, as were the '80s 49ers. Thus I must

NEW YORK GIANTS UPSET THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS AND WIN SUPERBOWL XLII
Yesterday in Arizona, the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots for Super Bowl XLII. This was probably one of the biggest upsets in Superbowl history, because the Patriots had a record of (18-1) and hadn’t tasted defeat in more than one year. All throughout the game, the Giants gave the Patriots a taste of their unstoppable defense and the remarkable comeback with 35 seconds on the clock. Tom Brady, who was the NFL’s most valuable player and won his first three Super Bowl’s, was sacked over five times, and at one point was on his knees with his hands on his hips. Eli Manning made the winning 13-yard pass to Plaxico Buress, who hadn’t practiced all week because of injuries, to win the Bowl. This gave the Giants their 11th straight victory on the road, and what they all

Okay, first things first. I do happen to know the Superbowl is over. And I apologize for not posting any foods prior to the Superbowl, for those looking for ideas. But I did fix some stuff, and I had some thoughts on Superbowl foods. Here are my thoughts: Food should never be fixed for the Superbowl if someome could categorize it as ‘gourmet’. That’s it. Everything else is fair game. ‘Gourmet’ foods don’t mix with the NFL. Fatties and pulled pork and wings and ribs fit pretty well. I can’t imagine a bunch of people sitting around watching the game while eating foie gras with blackberry balsamic glaze, or fish eggs on toast (sorry, caviar on toast points, forgive me!). Football food is meant to be stuff that you can chomp on and enjoy withou

      Superbowl
Well if you are Patriot fan then you've to be disappointed with the outcome ofSuperbowl XLII.The most disappointing aspect of the game is not the loss but the way the Patriots played. True that the Giants played well but the Patriots should have put together a much better game plan and played lot better. You would have never heard me say this - Tom Brady looked average, Bill Billicheck looked like a coach who didn't know what he was doing and that Patriot defense looked old and tired. First of all the Patriots couldn't stop the Giant running game right from the first drive. In addition, they let Eli Manning convert four third downs in that drive, that to me was unacceptable. Why couldn’t they have put 8 men in the box, stopped the run and made Eli Manning pass more in that drive.More tha

Hey, these are mine, na-chos! I've seen about 17 Superbowls, give or take. I deduced this number by adding up the years in my life since college -- when I last I thought of my "free time" as functional. In...

      Road to the Superbowl
If you are a football fan, you've to absolutely love the games this weekend."Playoffs.....playoffs....are you kidding me.....don't talk about playoffs...playoffs" - hold on hold on....this is the playoffs, so let's talk about it.1) Seattle vs Green Bay - PackersI know that the Seahawks beat Redskins at home at last weekend. However, the Packers are a much better team offensively than the Redskins. The Packers will run the ball better than the Redskins. Also, I expect the Packer defense to give Matt Hasselbeck and the Seahawk offense fits.Plus, I like the Brett Favre factor, so don't forget to watch a 37 year old quarterback get it done on Saturday.2) Jacksonville vs New England - PatriotsI've a lot of respect for Jack Del Rio, the head coach of the Jaguars, his coaching style and the Jagua

Beware Superbowl Ticket Scams On Line (especially eBay)
by Robert Gillispublished in the Foxboro Reporter, 1/2006 & 1/2007 and the Boston City Paper, 6/2006 & 1/2007.With the annual Superbowl frenzy in progress, especially here in Foxboro, I would like to take this opportunity to warn you about rampant ticket-selling fraud on-line, especially on eBay. Last year, my wife and I took an interest in trying to spot obviously fraudulent ticket sellers and learned how to spot certain telltale signs of fraud. While many online ticket vendors are reputable, many more are not. If you are planning on buying Superbowl tickets on-line (for most people, that will be eBay, Craig's list or another online auction site) please read the following and pass it along. Last year, I received four different emails from grateful people who were ready to buy ticke

      Lakeside Superbowl, Crewe
I'm frazzled. A relaxing jolly on the train up to Oldham to see the Alex in the second round of the FA Cup would have been perfect, but I was on kiddy party duty! Twelve monsters (11 of them energetic 8-year-old lads) let loose at Lakeside Superbowl on Crewe's Phoenix Leisure Park. I like the venue a lot. When it opened alongside the cinema and bingo complex I had my doubts as it looked as though a couple of years and it would get tatty around the edges. It's not, and full credit to all concerned who have kept the facilities looking clean and fresh. As party venues go the bowling is fantastic. About an hour and a quarter hurling large balls down the lanes, loads of high-fives and screeching, then into the soundproof party room for meals, cake and music. The hosts are superb, even bringing the adults tea or coffee. The snap shows my youngest and two other lads frozen to the spot, waiting for that magical moment when the pins scatter... .Information:.Telephone: 01270-251111Address: Ph

      Cowboys Awarded 2011 Superbowl
The Cowboys and their new one billion dollar stadium (expected completion 2009) were awarded the 2011 Super Bowl as they edged the Indianapolis Colts and the Arizona Cardinals. The Cowboy’s main competitive advantage was the ability to expand their to hold over 100,000 patrons, which easily dwarfs the Colts 72,000 capacity. SuperBowl 46 Location Set to be Picked Tuesday
The day of the Super Bowl has basically become a national holiday in America, with parties, get togethers, and all sorts of events that make the game usually take a back seat to everything that goes with it.  With that though, cities across the country fight tooth and nail to land the event each season, and that is why this week three cities are keeping their fingers crossed that they get picked to host the event in 2011. Those three cities are North Texas, Indianapolis, and the site already of this years event - Glendale, Arizona.  The decision will come down tomorrow, and one thing is certain - however gets the big event will be rewarded with the honor of hosting an event that most cities could only dream of.  Plus there is just a slight bit of money involved. Each cities reps will have 15 minutes to tell the NFL’s upper brass why their city should get the big game.  They have already had to submit tons and tons of paperwork with info about the cities hotel rooms and venues

So who won? Actually, I think as I type this the game is still playing right now. I guess I’m rooting for the Colts. I like horses. I had a phone sex quickie during half-time. He was horny, and ready to go. I started out by teasing him, progressed up to oral sex, and seven minutes later he was squirting a load all over the place. It was HOT! As I sucked him off, he kept talking about my perky tits. I think just saying the word “perky” was getting him worked up as much as my sucking was! He really seemed to get off knowing he was talking to a barely legal phone sex girl with small tits. Speaking of small tits… Last night I was working on my phone sex podcast, and I had to take a break because I was getting too horny. I decided to check out the pay per view pornos, and ended up watching Pussy Patrol. O M G!!! The girls in that barely legal porno were HOT and sexy lil sluts! I don’t wanna give away too many details, but I will tell you that these girls know

      Superbowl XLI Recap
Superbowl XLI was, at times, a roller coaster of emotions and in retrospect a pretty good game. I was relatively pleased with the outcome of the game (Even though i didn't care for either team). I won $20 playing squares, $10 bucks on the line, and both of our predictions on the game were pretty solid.THE SCORE Colts 29 Bears 17OUR PICKS WERE:grittysquirrels: Colts 27 Bears 14ming01: Colts 23 Bears 17 POST-GAME ANALYSISI am going to have to go ahead and refer you to my Super Bowl Preview ( http://thesportsflow.blogspot.com/2007/01/superbowl-xli-preview.html ), because it was relatively accurate in almost all aspects covered. This game was very entertaining in the first half, however in the second half it took a bit of a dive. As far as play is concerned the Bears' D was good, but not good enough to cover for Rex's (once again) inconsistently bad play. I honestly think Griese might have given the Bears a better shot at winning Sunday night. The weather played a relatively significant

      Superbowl Time!
MENTAL STATUS: "Not all there". The hubby and I had a "date" night last night, so I had a margarita at the restaurant. Since I am a light-weight, I'm paying for it today. Despite this feeling, I am judging some queries over at Romance Divas. So if I scored you low, I blame loss of a few brain cells.Well, the hubby and I are staying in to watch the Superbowl in the privacy of our own living room. But in honor of the festive event, I am making my "cheesy meatball lasagna". I have a nice salad, bread sticks, and even dessert to go along with that, too.Yes, I know that doesn't sound diet friendly, but what can you do? Sometimes you need comfort food--especially when the Eagles and the Patriots are not playing. But I digress...I have no real "stake" in the game, since my two teams are not in the Superbowl (did I mention that already?). So I must decide by some other means a team to cheer on.Either coach could be the first African-American coach to win a Superbowl, both seem like nice guys

As such, JetBlue is scheduled to offer free beer, cocktails, and 'munchies' on SuperBowl Sunday for any unfortunate (or fortunate) passengers stuck in the air during game-time. DIRECTV has also agreed to whisper sweet nothings into your ear by letting you see the game from 35k feet in the air. Superbowl Food Kickoffs !!
This year the Super Bowl kicks off at the Dolphin Stadium in South Florida February 4th. Whether it's the Bears or the Colts you are rooting for, I'm sure my fellow foodies will agree that the real winner is a "Super Bowl" of food that stand out from the usual fare of chips, dips and chili. While all the football fans out there are contemplating on who will win this year, I, on the other hand, will be contemplating on delivering a winning snack for this year's Super Bowl party. This year, I am going to stick with a simple party food recipe so I can be in the living room during game time joining in with the cheering and yelling, and most importantly, among the company of good buddies. I have narrowed down my "teams" to two favorites - the tempting "Colt"-en Shrimp Fritters vs. the equally alluring "Bear"-ffalo Chicken Lollipops. *grins* So, fellow foodies, which of these two teams do you think will be the winner of my Super Bowl party food this year ?
