It’s Thursday (well nearly) and after the terrible PS3 news day we had yesterday I am glad to be starting today off with something completely un-PS3 related.

Pues sí, después de darlo por perdido, este proyecto anunciado y descartado finalmente para Gamecube, finalmente llega la Wii después de haber triunfado en la DS. Más, ya ha llegado, según cuentan, a EEUU, donde está a la venta desde la semana pasada.
Super Paper Mario, mezcla de plataformas y RPG o juego de rol, es la versión 2D del mítico personaje y sus aventuras, como si se tratase de una historieta de comic animada.
Pero eso es sólo el planteamiento inicial.
A medida que avanza el juego y aprendemos a manejar el wiimando, los escenarios y los objetos se transforman, pasando de resoluciones 2D a tridimensionales, con lo que la percepción se modifica radicalmente con la aparición de elementos hasta entonces invisibles.

I get giddy for Mario. Doesn't matter which console. Doesn't matter which title ... ok maybe not the sports titles or Mario Party games.
If it's a platformer and it starts everyone's favorite Italian stereotype and his brother I'm down!
I admittedly have never played Paper Mario - The Thousand Year Door but will be picking it up this weekend in preperation for Super Paper Mario which is due out Tuesday. If you're not sure why I'm so hyped for this title check out the video (after the jump) featuring some of the game's innovative gameplay.
There is no doubt in my mind that this game is gonna be fun.

Nintendo (sito americano) ha appena annunciato l’imminente uscita di Super Paper Mario per il Wii. Infatti il 9 Aprile () questo titolo, inizialmente ideato per GameCube, potrà finalmente essere giocato sul vostro Nintendo Wii.
Il gioco, classico Platform game, vedrà il famoso eroe Mario, destreggiarsi tra piattaforme 2D e 3D per salvare la sua promessa sposa e comabattere i Bowser e le sue truppe.
Con l’uscita di questo gioco, si spera un secondo trimestre 2007 più fertile per la Nintendo, visto che l’ anno nuovo è cominciato con un numero molto esiguo di giochi in uscita. La release europea non dovrebbe ritardare molto rispetto a quella americana.
