Incredibile esperimento di programmazione web: il videogioco Super Mario Bros riprodotto in un file di soli 14 kilobytes di javascript! Perfettamente giocabile, con tanto di musica ed effettini, è privo di immagini e generato interamente da javascript (per i profani è un linguaggio di programmazione utile anche per fare animazioni su pagine web) che si occupa di creare e colorare i vari sprites dotati di massimo 4 colori in puro stile pixelato che sa tanto di amarcord. I was totally shocked to see Super Mario Bros. missing from the Wii Virtual Console launch list. “How could that possibly be?” I thought to myself, only slightly surprised to find the game was already available in other parts of the world. Besides Kid Icarus and the original Metroid I figured that Super Mario Bros. would have absolutely been one of the first VC titles.
