      Super Bowl XLI
Last night I met Eileen, Gina, Annisha and two of their friends at Bounce, where we had six seats at the bar, a round of shots on the house and front row views of the flat screens. We rated the Super Bowl commercials, cheered on our teams, ate popcorn shrimp, quesadillas and chicken fingers and stopped drinking before we'd regret it in the morning. At one point, I looked at our six reflections in the long mirror behind the bar. I know alcohol makes you feel more attractive than you really are, but we were some hot girls sitting at the bar. I turned to Eileen and relayed my observation. She nodded and replied, "That's how we roll! We're like the Pussycat Dolls; we've got one of each color.""Oh my gosh!" I exclaimed at the revelation. "How many Pussycat Dolls are there? Six?"She looked puzzled, "Hmmm ... I don't know."We both shrugged and turned back to the game.Later after Prince's amazing halftime performance, I sent a text message to my closest friends: "I just watched the Super

Super Bowl XLI: Bears and Colts
So the Super Bowl is set. It’ll be the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts, which is significant for a few reasons, but we’ll let the real media cover that. I just thought it’d be nice to take a look back at where we were just a year ago, getting geared up for Super Bowl XL between the Seattle Seahawks and the eventual champions, the Pittburgh Steelers.

Colts vs. Bears in Super Bowl XLI
For the first time in 21 years, the Chicago Bears will go to the Super Bowl. Joining them will be the Indianapolis Colts, after an amazing comeback defeat (38-34) against the New England Patriots. This year’s Super Bowl makes history as Lovie Smith of the Bears and Tony Dungy of the Colts are the first African American head coaches to make it to the Super Bowl in it’s 41 year history. Super Bowl XLI takes place on February 4 at Dolphins Stadium in Miami, Florida. Who do you think will win the Super Bowl this year?

Super Bowl XLI - Indi VS Da Bears
The Chicago Bears defeated the fumble-prone New Orleans Saints, 39-14. This is certainly a day for any Bears fan, especially one who was lucky enough to be at the game. The Chicago defense, as expected, stepped up and caused a number of fumbles that could be blamed for the New Orleans defeat. On the other side of the NFL, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the New England Patriots after an awesome comeback! The Colts were down by 18 points, but still managed to pull off a win of 38-34. Tom Brady's interception in the final Patriot drive ended the game.My predictions were correct! However, predicting the Super Bowl winner will be more difficult. Last years was a horrible game - Pittsburgh verses Seattle. From phantom touchdowns to phantom penalties, the game was horrible in every aspect (including the half-time show.)Here are some things to think about when predicting the winner of Super Bowl XLI:The color-issue around this game seems to be favoring Chicago Head Coach Lovie Smith for some

      Super Bowl XLI
Well I'm going to be attending Super Bowl XLI this year in Miami. Flight leaves tomorrow. I'm lucky enough to have a job that flies me to the USA every 3 months or so to work in stadiums and arena. Although I will be on-call during the game, most of the work is completed before hand so I'm hoping for a nice relaxing day watching one of the biggest sporting events. I should be back in 3 weeks

      Super Bowl XLI Prediction
Super Bowl XLISunday, Feb. 4th6:25 pm EST on CBSI've put it off long enough, and now I must make my predictions. This is the toughest game of the year to predict; Not because it's the Super Bowl, but because of the teams in it.Indianapolis has the stronger offense, but Chicago has the stronger defense. Once again, this game will solely depend on the quarterbacks. Peyton Manning and Rex Grossman are both capable of playing great and horrible. So who will make fewer mistakes?I can't help it… I think that Chicago has the better chance because of their defense. They almost always have great field position and always come through late in the game.SO - My long awaited prediction for the Super Bowl is in favor of Chicago… but don't count out Indianapolis. These are two great teams and anything can happen! I think the game will be very close, but I've said it; I believe Chicago will come out on top.

      Reflections of Super Bowl XLI...
Well, I wrote this article about the Super Bowl for a small Maryland outfit I write for, the Baltimore Reporter. It's obviously about the game, my reflections of it and a small bit of the history of the Colts with Indiana and Baltimore.Hope you like the small piece. If you'd like to send feedback, leave a comment or email me at mdguy2415@aol.com. Thanks. For most of the country, moreover the world, the Super Bowl is a cultural event that mixes up celebrity, commercialism, excess, celebration, football, and a slice of Americana. People, young and old; seemingly of every race and social class possible join for one Sunday every winter and celebrate the new national sporting religion - football. Sunday night was a memorable one, as the team who left the city of Baltimore a generation ago, won a Super Bowl for the first time in 4 decades, as the Indianapolis Colts. In the end, cultural history was made with two African-Americans coaching in the biggest sporting event in America, a

      Super Bowl XLI....Colts-29 Bears-17.
Let me first start off by saying congratulations to Jim Nantz and Phil Simms. Congrats on making the "biggest game" of the year seem like it was a pre-season game. This may have not been the most riveting or even slightly entertaining game but I don't really give a rat's ass about hearing that you both will be having an appearance on Criminal Minds after the game. Yeah, doesn't really pique my interest. Anyway, back onto the game. The game started off with a bang much like the National Championship Game, when rookie sensation, Devin Hester returned the opening kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown. This was the first time in Super Bowl history that this has happened. After the quick score it was now Manning's turn to show what he could do. After a couple of incomplete passes, Manning finally completed one, only problem is it was to Clark Harris and Harris isn't a Colt. Indy's next drive faired much better when Peyton Manning found Reggie Wayne wide open for a 53 yard score. But on the
