The San Telmo Sunday market has been one of our favorite outings during our month-long stay in Buenos Aries. Take a look and you’ll see why.
And if you haven’t had a chance to see our earlier videos, be sure to check them out too. It’s a great way to procrastinate.

Lazy day today. I was a little under the weather this morning after a night of drinking, and so I skipped my invitation to the Del Mar Racetrack with Nish and Joey. I spent the day pretty much sitting around and watching the Olympics, doing laundry, and studying for my GRE. I am finally caught up in the online course I'm taking.I am going to read a while, and then hit the hay early tonight so I
Check out some pictures from MAD MEN’s episode 4, “Three Sundays,” airing this Sunday, August 17, at 10pm on AMC.

I was restless yesterday waiting for my family to return home from L.A.
Originally they were going to leave early Saturday morning, but real life interrupted when my sister-in-law had her third hospital trip of the week with signs of early labor. By the time DH had finished up, it was nearly 7pm and I didn’t [...]
All I want to do is lie down with a book and read.
Instead, so far I’ve had to go the grocery store, clean the kitchen, do the laundry, make lunch and discipline a very rude little girl who defiantly told me that she would decide when she was done in the naughty chair.
She is now [...]
OK. So most everyone gets Sundays off. Except priests. But I’m not a priest. And that doesn’t mean I automatically get Sundays off.
So I get to figuring. Lent is forty days. Of sacrifice. But if you actually count the days from Ash Wednesday (when Lent begins), to [...]
We were all awake by 7am on Sunday, but we were still late to church. A whopping 40 minutes late. Little One did not want to leave when we picked her up from the Toddlers’ room. I don’t blame her. She only had about 30 minutes to play.
During the service we sat in the back [...]

Most of us recall the first game we really got into on the PC. My first was Wizardry, a simple (yet complex for the time) dungeon crawler published by Sir-Tech. Although there were some similar games at the time, this would probably be what I considered the first true “dungeon crawl”. You start the game [...]
Hoboken, New Jersey lies on the west bank of the Hudson River just a rock throw away from New York City. Hoboken is the archetypal American port town and has a deep and rich history. Here’s the deal: Gay guys in Denver like going out on Sunday afternoons. Starting as early as 3 and 4pm bars have what’s called “beer bust,” where for $8-$10 you can drink as much beer as you can muster. While I prefer a premium vodka over shitty drafts its nice to have [...]

I have no idea why James Patterson’s [with Gabrielle Charbonnet] “Sundays at Tiffany’s” is on the New York Times Best Seller list.
Further the jacket artwork has nothing whatsoever to do with the book. The main character is a blond.

May 18th has already come and gone, but I got a hunch that this is something that both GMK and J. Pinder along with the rest of Firm Official will continue to do on future Sundays. Get at them on their MySpace pages and find out what's good! The Starbucks they mention in the video is located on Rainier & Edmunds.

Have you looked at the newspaper ads for Mother’s Day? Have you noticed the jewelry ads?? There is one local store whose marketing slogan says “Nothing says ‘I Love You’ like a diamond”. We’ve been out with the dogs for a looong walk today, and I love it! I must admit that it’s hard to always get up early on my days off to walk the dogs, but when you’re in the woods and away from all the city noise and with the boyfriend, it’s all good. It’s [...]

In service this morning, our pastor shared a funny story that also gave me an “a-ha” moment and I had to blog about it 1) to remember it and 2) to share it and pay forward any other “a-ha” moments.

The Hyrum City Council in northern Utah has voted to temporarily end a ban on selling beer on Sundays. The move came after a gas station in the city complained it was losing business to a competitor in nearby Nibley that is able to sell beer on Sundays. Councilors say they will review the blue laws on alcohol sales early next year and could make a permanent change. At least one member of the city council is against beer sales on what he says are moral grounds.

I attended the VWD Business Building Meeting on Sunday; we were given some previews of a few of the games. As well as further explanations of the Pay Plan, That 100% Matching Bonus is a reason in itself for being a part of uVme
The games are exactly as we have been told, short duration, skill games, They are not as easy as they look either as was proven with a simple game of Jigsaw played by two of the audience, one of which was a youngster who is no stranger to this sort of game…. well done to both players:-)
Eric Avery gave a superb presentation for uVme during the morning and dropped a few little hints about the “sand running out of the glass”. In other words, get ready folks, the time is drawing very near!
In the afternoon Malcolm Horsey’s e-lottery presentation was outstanding, apart from giving out some excellent advice, he had the audience frequently in fits of laughter. These meetings ar
Heading into the weekend (is it just me, or do they never seem long enough?) this tidbit definitely fits the bill.
What if every second day was a Sunday? Well, it almost was for one lucky person. Scott, an Auckland bookstore assistant, wrote to the NZ Herald saying:
“A customer returned with a 2008 diary he purchased on the weekend. As he was flicking through his diary, he was dumbfounded as every other day seemed to be a Sunday. He told staff he thought he was going mad. But we realised he was quite correct… Sunday, Monday, Sunday, Wednesday, Sunday, Friday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday… We found that it was a huge printing error and were told to destroy it. Just think how wonderful it would be if every other day was a Sunday.”
I couldn’t agree more.

Tera Patrick had a fantastic magazine spread in Ralph Magazine this month, so we figured what better time to fill you in on all of the details behind the 31 year-old porn starlet. Here’s the wiki:
Patrick was born in Great Falls, Montana to an English Jewish father and Thai mother; her parents had originally met in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. While Tera was young, her mother moved back to Thailand to live permanently, and her father moved with her to San Francisco, California and raised her there himself.
Early career
Patrick was discovered in San Francisco by a talent scout for the Eileen Ford Modeling Agency, and at the age of 13 she was signed to a contract to be a model. She moved to New York City shortly thereafter and her career as a runway and catalog model began. At 18, she left the world of modeling and enrolled at Boise State University where she received her associate’s (two year) degree in nursing and a BS in Microbiology. She then transferred to Universit
I’m considering making Sundays a traditional day for an ‘open thread’ on the Anvil. In addition to that, I have the urge to also make each Sunday a day when I publish a new podcast of some sort, be it an interview or an editorial. This way I get to enjoy some sunshine and get away from my desk at least one day a week, yet at the same time “deliver the goods” seven days a week.
Today though I do not intend to post a new podcast, simply because I was not 100% satisfied with the vocal quality on my flagship podcast. I need to purchase a good but not overly expensive condenser microphone, and then once that is done, I will have no more excuses to refrain from putting out a regular stream of podcasts. The “field” of my old posts is fertile, so it should be quite easy for me to create at least one new podcast each week.
This thread is now wide open to any topic you might like to bring up. Have at it. I’m going to run outside and breath
Why are Sundays filled with sadness and gloom? They are the February of days, the dark ages of time, the black hole of the universe.I hate them. I feel lonelier than on any other day. I allow my imagination to run wild and then am even more let down when faced with the foolishness of my fanciful, whimsical thoughts. I am embarrassed that my mind can wonder so freely and yet so specifically into scenarios and at the same time they offer me my only solace from the doldrums of the day.Today, I was thinking would be different. I was hoping to awake and see the sun through my window and sense the continuation of the beautiful weather in our nation's capital. But the sky is thick with dense, sticky clouds. My plans of basking the sun while continuing through Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged (AMAZING), and taking dips in the chilled blue pool were over. I was left in my bed to think about Sunday in all its...Sundayness.....Read more of this post...
After my travel post about Hawaii, I went to sleep at about 3 a.m. Gosh !! Can you believe how exhausted I am today ? I slept through the day and woke up at 4 p.m.
Phew.. I am glad to be back with renewned vigor after a long sleep...;D I am ready to start bloghopping and searching for money saving tips and hot deals.
Sleeping at home on Sundays does help save some money, doesn't it ?

Well we’re 5/7ths of the way through the downity.com launch of a new daily feature every day, and today we’re doing our part in educating you on the porn starlets that (if you’re anything like us) you see on a very regular basis.
This week we’re happy to kick off Pornstar Sundays with none other than Jenna Haze, multi-award winner and all sorts of delicious. Here’s the details on our gal:
Jenna Haze (born Jennifer Corrales on February 22, 1982, in Fullerton, California, USA) is an American pornographic actress.
Haze grew up mainly in La Habra, California, though she also spent time in Lancaster, California, and Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. She is of mixed Spanish, German, and Irish descent.
Haze grew up the youngest of four in a single parent household. She first experienced vaginal intercourse with a boy at the age of 14, saying “I had just been dumped by this guy who broke up with me because I wouldn’t put out. I said screw it and slept with
Its too bad that I don't feel like doing anything today...Besides going to church and singing in the Praise Team, I haven't felt much like doing anything but sit and think. Perhaps God has created a switch in us that makes us rest on the end of the week; whatever the Sabbath Day may be to us...So, I am just throwing around ideas as to what I am going to do with my project car (1963 AMC Rambler Classic, Motortrend Car of the Year), and I think I have already mentioned that I want to make it a gas-efficient car. The 195.5 (196) AMC...

Debra Cohen Storyhttp://www.homereferralbiz.com/After buying their first home, Debra Cohen and her husband faced the unenviable chore of finding reliable home improvement contractors. Fed up with blindly picking names from the Yellow Pages and waiting for contractors who didn't show up, it occurred to Cohen that if she and her husband were having trouble finding contractors, other homeowners in their community must be facing a similar predicament. This bleak reality sparked the creation of a unique service that has since expanded into a profitable cottage industry across the U.S. and internationally. After extensive conversations with lawyers, business consultants, contractors and insurance agents, Cohen, 38, started Hewlett, New York-based Home Remedies of NY Inc. from her home in February 1997. This stay-at-home mom used a $5,000 loan, a computer and a refurbished fax machine to launch her part-time business. Right away, the response from homeowners was tremendous, and after three mo
Today - the first Sunday in spring - I began my first Spring Sunday walk with City Walks: New York: 50 Adventures on Foot.My day began at brunch in Harlem with Tokii and Gina. Afterward I headed downtown and started my walk just as my card instructed. I took a small detour on Waverly Place nearing the end of the walk when I notice a street fair from Washington Square Park. The fair stretched several blocks and featured a variety of vendors selling food, jewelry, tapestries, carpets, plants and bags. I ate grilled corn on the cob and chocolate-covered strawberries on a stick while checking out the different booths before I headed for the train at Seventh Avenue. How To Use These Cards: Each of the 50 cards conveys the flavor of the New York neighborhood or area it covers. None of the walks should take more than an hour or two to complete. On the card maps, one inch equals approximately 1,000 feet, so five inches is approximately one mile. Many of the walks can be combined or paired. Hist
I took a few photos yesterday. I've been studying at the New York University Medical Center Library the past 2 Sundays. That's 9 hrs and 10hrs of studying respectively. The 1st photo is a pic I took of Manhattan in the car on the Queensboro bridge which connects Queens with Manhatten. The 2nd photo was taken coming off the Queensboro bridge entering Manhattan. The 3rd photo is of me in the Library at NYU med center. Yeah that's where I parked my butt to study. The 4th photo is of an ambulance they used to use at Bellevue Hospital back in 1898. The only thing missing here are the horses which would be pulling the ambulance and of course the driver. The 5th photo is a showcase showing medical equipment doctors used at the med center during the 1800's and 1900's.

I painted this interior scene from life while gallery sitting at the Belle Levine Gallery at Putnam Arts Council. Following the fire on Sunday night/Monday morning, this gallery space is no more. Having recently shown about 40 paintings here during the holiday season, it's hard for me to believe it's gone. It is such a terrible loss for Putnam County. The sculpture in the painting, "Hawk of the Hudson", is by the wonderful sculptor Paul Yarden. It was made from driftwood found along the riverbank. You can read more about the fire and public reaction (including my own) in this newspaper article.

Still at 9st 10lbs. My one positive is that there isnt a weight gain, but really, what does a girl have to do to get to 9st 7lbs? Cut off a limb? After the awfulness of the England match on Saturday I didn't venture far from home on Sunday. Trip over to Sainsbury's in the morning was it. I watched the act of remembrance from the Cenotaph while cleaning out the rabbit then randomly decided to make lemon poppyseed cake. Other than the Sainsbury's trip I didn't leave the flat. GBF rang to see if I wanted to watch Flight 93 in the evening, but Mum was coming over so I wasn't able to do that.Might take one of the cakes into work (there is too much mixture for one tin so I have to make two cakes when I do this one). That way it isn't hanging round the flat and tempting me. It occurred to me this morning that I have a fairly high carb diet, but since I've already noted that my weight doesn't appear to be on an upwards creep maybe the level is about right. I was pondering the hu
1. no leewee journal entry today. I'm most forlorn about it. no family pics to mock. no entry to dissect. how am I supposed to go into my week without her direction and guidance? what about me? what about my needs?! a busy excuse just won't cut it. you can't have a WEEKLY journal if you're going to journal at your convenience. it's self defeating. just call it, the leepee journal whenever I fucking feel like it. 2. must clean. house is utter chaos. not totally, but for me it's chaotic (how very twit and sledge of me). I could not be less in the mood for a cleanse fest. I need the clarity, so I'm going to do it. tomorrow night is laundry. I hate bringing clean clothes into a dirty house. it's fat. 3. two writing deadlines this week that I haven't even begun. I suck. I've been skipping around one and I need to just dive in, womb first. 4. trying to get hageen groomed. he's covered in mud and smells like wet grass and canine fur. I must admit, I love it. still. kid's gotta g
In honor of the Super Bowl, I wanted to post my favorite scene from the Simpson's. Unfortunately I couldn't find it anywhere. In the scene the Reverend LoveJoy is welcoming everyone to a special Sunday night service at the church, and there is hardly anyone there. He says that he is glad that on Super Bowl Sunday a few people could make it. Upon hearing this, a man on the front row jumps up and screams, "It's Super Bowl Sunday!?! I forgot!" Then he runs out of the church as fast as he can. High Comedy, and yes... you'd have to see it to appreciate it.Since I can't find the Simpson's video, I'm posting a great 'rub salt in the wounds' video on THE most famous Dallas Cowboys holder in team history, Tony Romo.
Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman have a tradition of getting naked on Sundays."We claim ourselves to be coziest couple ever," the 26-year-old Grammy nominee (for her Back to Basics album) tells Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Wednesday. "We have something called naked Sundays." "Excuse me?" DeGeneres asks. "Did you say naked Sundays?" "You have to keep marriage alive, spice it up," says Aguilera, admitting that some added heat is required even though the two have only been married for "a big whole year." "we just celebrated our first anniversary, and on Sundays we just do everything in the house, and we're just cozy and laid back," she says. "We don't need to go anywhere, we're just with each other." We do everything naked. We cook naked." DeGeneres suggests there is one thing they should avoid during their nude time: "Nothing with grease - that could splatter." But Aguilera isn't deterred, saying: "Well, unless you want the grease." Personally I think alot of us ge
