My wife and I are in the process of either finding a house that we would like or building a new green house.    One thing that we keep seeing are folk putting in a new Water Heater.  Our question is WHY?Traditionally speaking, we can understand and empathize that this might be a great selling point.  But, wouldn't a better selling point be a device that heats your water when you need it, takes up a third of the space, AND saves a bunch of money for the new home owner?  The Rinnai (pictured here) is what we have in our home and we love it.  It provides hot water on demand and as much as we want our need.  (only drawback is when my father comes over and thinks he can shower as long as the hot water comes out)  When we are using the hot water, it remains off - this includes during the night time hours, during vacations, etc. It also has saved us space in the basement that is now better utilized for other purposes. I think it is awesome and wonderful that there are several nice traditional campaign fundraising events being held to add money to the Huckabee coffers. Note I used the word "Traditional. That means the customary fancy $500-,$1,000 a-head events. I think they are a wonderful way to raise money for our cause. However I have an additional suggestion. this campaign is about the folks on "Main Street" instead of "Wall Street." How about organizing smaller, localized events to raise money from Huckabee supporters who are not-as-wealthy. These events could be BBQ's or Picnics that would raise $25-$100 a person. Of course Mike Huckabee does not have to attend each one as he has more important places to be and other locales to visit and spread his message of hope. Do you think this is a good suggestion? Just came across a blog post considering six widespread world languages to learn.
