      Suggested Itineraries: Belize
It's Better in Belize. You Better Belize It. It's Unbelizeable. If I had a nickel for each time I saw a Belize-inspired T-shirt, I'd have at least 60 cents by now. Maybe a buck. The problem is not a lack of T-shirts. Trust me, there are heaps on sale in Belize. The problem is that Belize is one of those places that refuses to become mainstream.

Amidst the doom and gloom of the 10th bet set forth in the article, however, is the quote: "Energy, metals and materials will stabilize and inch higher."These sectors seem to be favored by both bears and bulls and will surely be getting my attention

Even through my late 20’s I remember sleeping in…until 10 or 11am or so. Nowadays, I’m up by 6:30am. Everyday. Even the weekends. Even when I’m staying in a hotel, hungover and someone else is taking the kids to school. I’m still not one of those way too perky for morning people, but I think I’ve accepted the fact that I wake up early. I no longer try to force myself back to sleep. Suggested Itineraries in Buenos Aires
Welcome to possibly the coolest city in South America. At least, that’s my (somewhat biased) opinion. Quite simply the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires (BA for short), oozes class – take a walk down the main streets and you’ll see what I mean. Whatever you’re into – culture, nightlife, food and drink – you’ll find it here, with a vengeance. Add to this the fact that BA is currently one of the most affordable cities in the world, and you’ll be itching to get here. The following represents the highlights from my own trip to BA last year – whilst it could be done in three or four days, I took my time and ended up staying a fortnight. Avenida Florida & Plaza de Mayo The pedestrianized Avenida Florida is the nerve centre of Buenos Aires in terms of being rammed with shoppers, businessmen and tourists, all going about their lives in the shadows of daunting skyscrapers and old European edifices. Buskers and street vendors add to the general bustle, making this a r

And while it is possible to navigate certain areas of Cape Town on foot, quite often poorly maintained sidewalks and crazy drivers make this an uncomfortable (and sometimes dangerous) option. Fortunately, the hop-on hop-off bus is a perfect solution, with great views from the top level of the double-decker buses and stops at must-see museums, attractions & lookout points throughout the city

Edinburgh: The City of Alcohol, Tours and Filth? All great cities have a nickname that supposedly tells us something about their character. You know, Paris is the ‘City of Light’, Rome is the ‘Eternal City’, New York never sleeps and all of that. Back in the day Edinburgh was called ‘Auld Reekie’, which is Scottish for “Old Smoky” or “Old Smelly”. The city was given this term (of endearment?) because of the large quantities of smoke emitted from factories and chimneys around the city. Edinburgh is indeed still a smelly city — of course, the foul smell of early industrialisation has been replaced by the sweet scent of beer coming from nearby breweries. Since the Auld Reekie days, the Scottish capital has been spared from kitschy monikers. Not so anymore. I am about to pitch a couple of possible names that could be internationally associated with Edinburgh. Who knows? History might prove me right. Edinburgh: The Cit

Scuba diving on the Cayman Islands The Cayman Islands (Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac) are among the smallest islands in the Caribbean. There’s still plenty to capture your attention… and, yes, a piece of your wallet. Scuba Diving & Water Sports in the Caymans Grand Cayman’s scuba diving easily lived up to its reputation. Casco Viejo, Panama City The fantastically diverse scenery that Panama (a.k.a. the ‘bridge of the Americas’) offers means that no single visit can do justice to all its attractions. This is doubly true if you’re an adventurous type of traveler. Oceans, mountains, jungle and hip urban nightlife… Panama really does have something for everyone. The following itinerary takes in a few of the places I visited last year, on a route that (more or less) follows the Interamericana Highway from Panama City to the border of Costa Rica. It’s a guide only, and while it’s possible to cover the sights in 10 days, don’t let that stop you spending more time in any one of the suggested locations – after all, if I was forced to spend a few extra days sipping coffee in Boquete, I wouldn’t exactly be disappointed. Small girl peering round Daisy’s comedor in La Hoya With charter flights pouring into the Dominican Republic at a cost no greater than that of a weekend break in Spain or France, one imagines this land to be little more than one big hotel complex catering to the two-week bronzers. However for the intrepid traveller with a desire to take advantage of these cheap flights, there is a world within this tiny island that is a far cry from the tourist-impacted northern and eastern shores, a world that offers an ecological paradise not yet touched by the packaged-holiday resorts. The southwest of the Dominican Republic is often seen by its fellow provinces as being the donkey’s rump of the island. The Petronas Twin Towers in KL After two years of living in Malaysia, I am consistently surprised how few tourists visit this beautiful country. Lying between the famous beaches of Thailand and the cosmopolitan splendor of Singapore, Malaysia is falls into the “overlooked” and “maybe next time” categories for most travelers. And that’s OK. The fact that it most travelers tend to skip Malaysia makes it that much more special. One of Malaysia’s truly unique features is its cultural heritage. Malaysia is home to three diverse ethnic groups: Malay, Chinese, Indian. And traveling in Malaysia is like visiting three countries in one. Visit a Hindu shrine, score a bargain in Chinatown, and experience a traditional Malay meal, all in one afternoon. Every few years something thrusts Belize into the global spotlight. In 2001 it was Hurricane Iris that garnered headlines. In 2000 it was the reality television show Temptation Island (filmed on Ambergris Caye) that caused a brief surge of interest. Yet beyond the occasional news item, most travelers know little if anything about Belize. Don’t belize me? OK smarty pants, let’s test your knowledge with my patented Belize Pop Quiz. True or false, there is a Guinness brewery in Belize. True or false, there are British army troops stationed in Belize. True or false, filmmaker Georg

"Women = Meat" Sheik Is Suggested To Leave Australia
An update on this story. AAP via Dhimmi Watch: Federal Sex Discrimination Commissioner Pru Goward believes the comments are an incitement to crime. "Young Muslim men who now rape women can cite this in court, can quote this man ... their leader in court," she told the Nine Network. She wants him to go, but did not make clear whether she wanted to him to leave the country or step down as a leader of the Islamic community. "It's time we stopped just saying he should apologise. It is time the Islamic community did more then say they were horrified. I think it is time he left," Ms Goward said. Victorian Liberal backbencher Sophie Mirabella wants the sheik to consider moving back to the Middle East. "I have a message for Sheik Alhilali: This is Australia, not Iran, and violence and degradation of women is not acceptable," she said.

Suggested lining for a knit skirt posted by damiller29672
I bought some cute t-shirt knit at Hancock Fabrics to make summer tops for my DD. She decided she would prefer skirts from the fabric. The knit is way to thin to make an unlined skirt. I'm afraid if I do line it then the skirt will stick to the lining. Short of walking around with a spray can of Static Guard, does anyone have any suggestions? Pattern suggestions would also be appreciated.
