The Sugababes have announced details of a jaunt around the UK’s theatres and medium venues in March and April next year. The month long tour will see them play 20 nights around the country, though whether the girls can all stay together by the end of it is another thing! The dates include one night at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Tickets go on sale on Friday (October 19) at 9am. Sugababes will be following the current UK no. 1 hit “About You Now” with “Change”, the title track off their new album. The song, which was produced by Danish producers, Deekay, will be released on December 17th. I was hoping the next single would be “My Love Is Pink” or the pop-r&b gem “Open The Door”. The girls have also announced a 20 date 2008 UK tour. Let’s hope the tour eventually makes it off shore, and to other parts of the world. See the dates below. Girl groups do not last the distance. That's a fact. They argue, bitch, pick on a girl, kick her out of the group, replace her like she's a dead battery and then completely meltdown and break up. Despite the curse of the girl group, the Sugababes have managed to stick it out and reach the milestone that is the fifth studio album. Even the Spice girls or Destiny's child can't say that. With Mutya out of the picture and fans questioning whether they could go on without her, the surviving girls had to prove they could keep the music as tight as ever. Did they manage to pull it off? *scoff* Did they ever! Mutya who!?'Change' doesn't stray too much from the Sugababes' previous albums and is pretty much what you'd expect from the girls. E realmente houve algumas mudanças, pois a girlsband britânica perdeu Mutya Buena, tendo de procurar uma nova Sugababe que acabou por ser Amelle. Este album será o 1º que Amelle grava do princípio ao fim. Como vemos pelo 1º single "About You Now" elas estão a apostar numa nova sonoridade, bem mais sofisticada, mas sente-se sempre a falta de Mutya Buena, que era uma peça fundamental do sucesso desta girlsband. "About you now" adopts the pop / punk rock vibe that Kelly Clarkson, Pink and Avril Lavigne have been dabbling in as of late. Here is something I never expect, Amelle from Sugababes got arrested at a bar in Guildford, Surrey in the early hours of Sunday morning. She was questioned on suspicion of assault, and then released on bail. The reason according to a teen girl who was interviewed by The Sun she was hit and kicked repeatedly on the dance floor at Bar Med, while a witness told the newspaper the 18-year-old was pushed over, stamped on and kicked. Ouch! Personally, I feel sad for her; even though I know most of the people hate her and want Mutya back. The band never comment on this & as we all know the Sugababes are the most successful band in the UK & they have went through a lot of drama & breakups. The Sugababes and Girls Aloud are releasing a cover of rock anthem 'Walk This Way' for charity.The two British girl groups have teamed up to record their own version of Aerosmith's hit song for British charity event Comic Relief. It will be released in the UK on March 12.Dallas Austin - who has previously worked with the Sugababes and TLC - has produced the track.The song received its premiere on BBC Radio 1 on the Chris Moyles show today (01.02.07).'Walk This Way' was written by Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry and originally released as the second single from their 1975 album 'Toys in the Attic'.However, it achieved its iconic status when the rock band re-released the song as a hip-hop collaboration with rappers Run DMC in 1986.

Unbelievable I mention three days ago how good this song is then find out that Sugababes and girls aloud have covered it. Unfortunately the version isn't brilliant but I bet the video is going to be fantastic. How can it fail to be with the two groups including gorgeous looking members. I say go buy it its all for a good cause!
