Whenever a child suffers needlessly, I really get shaken up, as I hope anyone does. Whenever I hear of a child being abused, neglected, exploited, or murdered, I can't help feeling extreme anger toward the person(s) responsible. Then I immediately start feeling heartbroken and sad for the child who was subjected to whatever hell they were put through. It's a consuming need to hug that child and hug my own, and then let them know they are loved. Disease and sickness can't always be blamed on a person, so there is just the yearning without the anger.

Viagra and other impotence drugs' usage may result in sudden hearing loss.
It is not clear that the drugs truly trigger hearing loss, but the U.S. Food and Drug Administration decided Thursday to add a warning about the possible risk after counting 29 reports of the problem since 1996 among users of this family of medicines.
The impotence drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra will bear the warnings. So will Revatio, a drug for pulmonary hypertension, which contains the same ingredient as Viagra.
Viagra's label already mentioned hearing loss as a possibility, because a few cases were reported during initial testing of that drug. All of a sudden I am chopped liver in the eyes of my son. Since coming back from Sesame place a few days ago Eli has not wanted me like he did before. I am talking about a giant swing of behavior. For example, Eli during the Sesame trip only wanted to be held by me. If Jodi even attempted to do anything he would scream for me. Even when pushing the stroller it had to be me (unless he was sleeping). Now, he won’t even give me a hug and a kiss and is latched on to Jodi non-stop.
It is a really humbling experience to have this happen and I have a theory as to what triggered this. For the last few days Jodi has been busy with preseason soccer with the high school team she coaches. She has let her sister watch Eli, Poppy and a babysitter. It has been said that Billie was dining at The Ivy restaurant in London when her eyes became blurred when she stepped outside to have a cigarette.
She then tried to cover her face up when the photographer’s bulbs started flashing and was in obvious discomfort.
Billie has said to have panicked when she woke up the following morning and could not open her eyes; she was then taken to Moorfield’s Eye Hospital in Central London.
A friend of Billie said that “She’s being looked at but we don’t know the score. It could be that her eyesight has been damaged or that she has some form of infection or other condition.”
Experts have said that retinal damage can be caused by camera flashes but this is rare and could serve as a trigger for existing conditions.
We hope that Billie regains her eye sight soon.

Latest pain in the neck is that I am not getting email via Nicnames, who manage my domain. The email when received at Nicnames should immediately be routed through to the underlying BT email address. When checking yesterday I haven’t received any email, via that email address, for the last week.
I have noticed recently that it was being delivered late, by several hours. I am sure that they are trying to be helpful by filtering out spam but I’d rather they just did what they originally said on the tin and delivered my email straight away. Maybe this is under the aegis of ‘email management’.
Tried using Skype the other day and all of a sudden the microphone didn’t work. Fiddled about with stuff then noticed the webcam also wasn’t working. Checked that I wasn’t using the apparently buggy version of Skype where it has trouble with microphones (hmmm… a phone system where the microphone might not work, what is this).
