Subtitled… Why not Entitled?
I have 12,000 titles. No More, No Phone
Have these skins with their red dots
crawling fingers scraping upon the surface
Overbearing erectile bone lip.
it curls for coffee
Threw my glasses at the train, half pound disaster it was
they shattered magnificently
tearing tires, bruising
forearms as they went
Sitting on a lap with the crazies at the store
they have impossibly engorged goiters
and wretched cigar stains
made from dyed tortilla flats
my hat.
Jack.
Rat.
Matt.
my slacks.
I am, I wish I were a sleaze
a big brown British motors cur
two babies at my breast &
Still flaccid
Touring Italy with impurity &
on the make
acid, tacit, lactate
no more
Hug your Monsters at least Once

Not content with kickstarting and part-funding ‘accessible’ cinema in the UK, the UK Film Council is to input another £500,000 in grants, to assist independent cinemas to upgrade equipment and infrastructure so that ALL audiences can have access to the cinema-going experience.
People! It’s UP TO YOU to persuade cinemas to apply to this fund. The more cinemas that apply, the better chance of more ’subtitled cinemas’ in the future. PLEASE contact cinemas in your local area and request that they take up this fantastic offer, which ends on 30th November of this year. Read all about it here: Your Local Cinema

I went to see subtitled Blood Diamond, starring (a likeable) Leonardo DiCaprio, Dijmon Hounsou, and Jennifer Connelly. Set during Sierra Leone’s civil war of the 1990s, Leonardo DiCaprio stars as a South African ex-mercenary who makes an unlikely union with a Mende fisherman in a quest to find a rare diamond.
The film was great, and the African scenery was just stunning. It was a very sad film though, bringing home the reality of conflict diamonds and the resulting suffering in Africa. Rough diamonds are used by rebel movements or their allies to finance armed conflict aimed at undermining legitimate governments. Profits from the trade in conflict diamonds were used to buy arms, children were trained to be soldiers and people often had their hands cut off….

There were only 4 of us in the cinema theatre, which was great. They forgot to put the subtitles on - durrrr
