Mac : A Case of Subterfuge Marketing?
One of my visitors brought a rather interesting incident to my notice. He wrote that, clicking on a 'Windows Vista' Google Ad, appearing on WinVistaClub home page, took him to a Mac landing page. Curiosity got the best of me and I clicked on that 'Windows Vista' Google Ad (Forgive Me Oh Google); And sure enough it took me to a Mac Landing page. Point is: Does Mac really need to misrepresent itself as Windows Vista to sell its product?

      Sabotage and subterfuge
I often despair about having no time to write, but I know it’s all a state of mind. I’m definitely one of those who enjoy “having written.” One form of procrastination I partake in is taking on new projects such as freelance writing assignments and joining committees at my local United Way. I get so excited about them and they’re fun and satisfying, but they end up taking away the precious personal time I should be dedicating to my passion of writing fiction. I’m just a dichotomy of commitment and over-extension. The commitment side is the protagonist who loves writing and works hard towards hopefully being a published novelist one day. Then there’s the other side, the antagonist cajoling me, “You can do it. Take on more. Say yes.” He always makes me feel like I can do it all. Well, I finally put my foot down. I’ve resigned from the UW and my most recent freelancing project. It was hard and I felt guilty, but it’s time for me to learn to say no and pay atte

Democrats attempt usual subterfuge: Time to Micromanage the War
I have to wonder if the Democrats actually believe their own words when they spew this type of horse shit. They are saying that John Murtha’s draconian plan to hobble the administration and the military is for the good of the troops?! Even Murtha has admitted it’s a work around to limit what options the President has militarily in Iraq. The Democrats are trying to use the same techniques now as they have used successfully so many times before. They are afraid to face an issue directly so they go at it roundabout. The Democrats, like this Ari Berman person, are either liars or very simple minded if they actually believe this nonsense that it’s for the benefit of the troops. The claims that moderate Democrats are falling into some nefarious Republican plot is just the typical moonbat paranoia from their far left fringe element. Luckily they are rather good at marginalizing themselves so as not to be a real threat to anyone outside of their own party. Let them rave on. The last line i

      Subterfuge malefic agenda bender
You wake up in the morning get out of bed make yourself a cup of tea and some breakfast and then hi ho hi ho its off to work you go. Your kids have gone to school with mummy after that she's off to work herself. A normal family life. Wonderful. How many normal people out there are actually normal though. I mean how many of these normal people really think and act like normal people. I'm not referring to the accountant by day bogeyman by night, well maybe I am, but what I'm really leaning towards is the bloke who sits next to you at work for the most part of every working day, the one you sometimes have lunch with, a laugh and a joke maybe if you understood his humour. You think you've got to know him after a while of first meeting him but the more you get to know him the less you get to know him, or is it you. You think you might be crazy some of the thoughts that go through your mind especially when your thinking about your work pal. Sometimes you get real nervous like your hi

      Ultrasound Subterfuge
Only two and a half months left to go and my husband still hasn't spilled the secret. As you may remember, Adam wanted to find out our baby's sex but I didn't so the technician wrote it in an envelope for his eyes alone. The card has been sitting propped on Adam's dresser for two months now.My refusal to look inside the card may seem to be yet another one of Sarah's random battles. After all, there really aren't any benefits to not knowing and a whole list of inconveniences it incurs. But there is a very important reason I can't look. It would mean he wins. When I went in for the ultrasound in November I made it clear to the technician that I did not want to know the sex. He gave me a surprised look and asked why. I didn't know how to reply to his curiosity. Sensing my weak position, the tech spent the rest of the examination trying to convince me to find out. Why did it matter to this stranger? Was this really such a rare request? Fueled by a growing dislike for the m
