There isn't a ton to go on, but Australian iPhone user Stuart Carnie has posted a blog stating that he's managed to port a Commodore 64 emulator known as iFrodo to the iPhone. Carnie went on to state that he has yet to install a Save/Resume state mechanism, a means of browsing for files or a virtual keyboard or joystick, but that the difficult chunk of the code is written and that the emulator may be ready for when Apple's App Store goes live.

Just been watching The League of Extraordinary Gentleman so of course I noticed Stuart Townsend. Like fellow Irish actor Colin Farrell, he attended the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin where he made his non-professional stage debut in the school's production of Tear Up The Black Sail. His professional stage debut was in 1994's True Lines, directed by John Crowley, who later directed Intermission. True Lines was first performed in Kilkenny; it later moved to the Dublin Theatre Festival and on to Bush Theatre in London. Townsend's father, Peter, was a golfer, who played in the 1969 and 1971 Ryder Cups.  Townsend has dated actress Charlize Theron since meeting her on the set of 2002's Trapped. The couple live together in Los Angeles.

Sometimes I find Stuart Woods thought provoking. Others times I find his books merely entertaining. I guess realistically sometimes it is good to find a book that provides you with entertainment and doesn't really make you think. I spend a lot of time thinking so auto pilot isn't all bad. Delano, Georgia gets mentioned once again by a character. That small, quaint Georgia town would have to be several hundred thousand to encompass every character who originated there. Stone Barrington is always amusing, amazingly attractive to every member of the opposite sex and always lands on his feet. He is never faint of heart when it comes to challenges. Back on the chain gang with Stuart Weitzman’s black patent ‘Chainto’ pumps Of all of the embellishments that can be added to shoes, chains would have to be my least favourite, bringing to mind tacky ankle-straps and dangling gold accessories. Not these ones, though. Stuart Weitzman has actually managed to keep his “chain shoes” tasteful, by putting the chain on the sole rather than using it as a strap, and I think it’s worked out quite well. It certainly makes these ‘Chainto’ pumps a little different from all the other black patent shoes that are available at the moment, and the metallic heel compliments the sole perfectly. Stuart Weitzman tries and fails with his Patent Cutout Booties It’s never long after a trend comes along that designers who didn’t get there first start chopping the crap out of it. In my experience, this rarely trumps the original and that pretty much sums up my feelings on Stuart Weitzman’s Patent Cutout Booties. He appears to have taken the classic brogue/oxford boot and given it a bit of sass and originality by firstly making it patent and then making odd cutouts. I’m afraid it really falls down in the style stakes for me. Mixing genres like this basically Victorian inspired shoe with modern twists is a tricky business. Barrymore along with the other two men aged 32 and 37 were all pulled in for questioning by detectives in Essex.
