Well, we went to Metro beach park today to take some strolling time with our son Josh, since he loves to take a walk but it's getting cold lately and it is too late then for us to take strolling, well, it was so disappointing...probably just too excited to take a walk and to take some pictures again...since it's been few months now that I never had to take a walk and taking pictures, since the winter here in Michigan seems not over yet..well...it's already spring time! geesh! And so, I just decided to shop and went to Target store, and there I started to shop something for myself, well, always love the clearance so I stuck myself and bought some sleepwear. An obvious victim of SWL, the completely unincisive Randi Rhodes (yes, I've listened [the Republicans and...huh... just so gross]) was beaten down by neocons or maybe some paleocons (Nobody can tell because there wasn't a police report). Whatever happened it must have been a conservative because every conservative knows and cares who Randi Rhodes is and is just waiting to clobber her. Frankly, I feared as much; it was just a matter of time before roving gangs of Limbaugh listeners began terrorizing New York. It's not like they're smart enough to hold a job. Ms. Rhodes is lucky it wasn't worse; if conservatives had any teeth, they'd probably have bitten her. Rhodes assuming that a certain group did something based on no evidence isn't prejudice, however, because...well...I don't know. It just isn't. There's no such thing as profiling conservatives- they're that evil.

It was a day of National Holiday. Second Monday of October is commemoration of the first Olmpics held in Tokyo. It was also a National Day of Sports. So the gaikokujin decided to test his Suica Pass in JR East to see whether there is a charge when you go out in between stations. I was suppose to go to Akihabara but I was scared since it was not really my typical route and the charge for my exit would be more expensive. So I decided to stop by Shinjuku. In Makati, Shinjuku is a famous restaurant for Ramen along Makati Avenue. Here, Shinjuku is not just ramen but a ramen of people going anywhere. Shinjuku is a busy metropolis of class Makati-like Glorietta and Greenbelt malls and shopping arcades. Numerous restaurants, pachinko slots arenas, karaoke bars, and lots and lots of signature shops awaits you here. By Fred TittleReally not the best city for walking it is better for strolling so you can save your strength for when you have to cross a major street where the lights don’t say “Walk” they say instead “Run For Your Life”! but if you plan your trip right you can minimize the street crossings especially in the downtown center as there is a ton of stuff to look at and to poke around inside which is a good thing as it gets really hot here in the noon day sun.The Ben Than market is just such a place where you take your life into your hands getting to it, if you are on the wrong side of the street as there is a tremendous circle that is buzzing with traffic, this should not be attempted by the meek. Inside you will find the usual tourist trap junk but there are also some very interesting things to find if you poke around a bit like the glass sellers stall. I decided to take a little stroll in Castleberry Hill today with my dog, Brutus, to get ready for the Loft Tour in October as well as the 4th Friday Art Stroll on September 28th. If you have not done the art stroll, I must tell you it is really cool. Of course, I am not sure I am cool enough, but alas, I have done it. Atlanta’s art district, as far as I am concerned, is in Castleberry Hill. You won’t believe the number of galleries amongst the lofts in this area. It is great. So today, Brutus and I did not do the whole “stroll,” but instead stuck to a bit of a circle going from Peters Street to right on Haynes then left on Walker, and then back left on Peters Street. The Art Stroll is much bigger and many more streets are involved. In fact, Castleberry Neighborhood Association is kind enough to tell individuals what galleries, businesses, and restaurants are involved in the stroll.
