A quick update before I get back to work… The grocery experiment went well. Overall the total for the week was a couple dollars under our normal budget. I think it was $2. Not bad though. I thought for sure it would be more expensive to shop like this. I did go to Jewel once, but got out of there for under $30 which is unbelievable. The thing that gets me at the bigger stores is all the stuff on ‘sale’. I go with a list and a good idea of what we need for the week but get sidetracked and end up buying a couple extra this and one more of that because it’s a good deal. Tonight we finished up a 3-night meeting at Living Stones Ministries in Clifton Forge, VA. It was a great week. We are off to Nassau, Bahamas Sunday morning so Tony can have a kidney stone removed. We had to rush him over to Providenciales last Friday morning in horrible pain as this apparently huge stone managed to lodge itself in the entrance to his bladder and completely block his whole system. Luckily he got to the doctor for some IV morphine and fluids and the stone shifted a bit overnight, but it's too big to pass. He cannot get an appointment soon enough in Miami, so we are going to see Dr. Robin Roberts in Nassau, who is apparently fabulous. Wish us luck and send any prayers and healing.
