      Stone Sour - Sillyworld
I Remember When I Lost My Mind… for PowersAndMorrison.com Monday, March 12, 2007. A while back, I saw this band at a Jay Leno taping when they played the song “Through Glass.” That’s a great song, but another one by ‘Stone Sour’, named “Sillyworld” is even better. It combines political images with big business in America. Don’t miss the image of Hillary Clinton, it’s pretty funny. Freedom’s just a word today Freedom’s just a word When someone takes your word away it’s seldom ever heard So take a sentence full of things you’re not supposed to say Carry on, but don’t write it down or you’ll be gone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21yI32b8sCU   Peace is just two fingers now Peace was just a phase When someone put it on a shirt You knew to count the days So take those fingers tape ‘em up and shove ‘em up your ass And carry on But don’t try it now cause peace is gone

Stone Sour: Come What (ever) May - Through Glass
Stone Sour is a Grammy-nominated American melodic hard rock band founded by Corey Taylor, famous for being the vocalist for the metal band Slipknot, and former drummer Joel Ekman. The band fuses alternative rock with influences from heavy metal music such as distorted guitars and stronger melodies not heard in standard alternative rock.Stone Sour was originally formed in 1992 by Corey Taylor and drummer Joel Ekman. Ekman's long time friend, Shawn Economaki, joined shortly after, and filled in as the bass player. The band had played clubs and bars with various different guitarists - often filling the position for just one show. During this time, Stone Sour recorded 500 demo tapes, in 1992 and 1994. Shortly after in 1995, James Root - who would later join Taylor in Slipknot - joined the band. The group was complete, and in 1996 recorded another demo tape, and songs from which would later be used in 2002 on their self titled debut album, Stone Sour. The band was named after an alcoholic

[2002] Stone Sour - Stone Sour (Mp3 Download)
Review by Jason D. Taylor @ allmusic.com While Stone Sour formed as an avenue from which Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root could unleash their vision without upsetting the legions of Slipknot followers, it is in fact a much more impressive statement than many bands of its ilk. Those who heard "Wait and Bleed" during its radio days should be well aware that Taylor has the

      [2006] Stone Sour - Come What(ever) May (Mp3 Download)
Review by Megan Frye @ allmusic.com What sets Stone Sour apart from others of their breed is the band's ability to create smooth, radio-friendly alternative metal songs while simultaneously not boring the people who have heard way too much from post-grunge groups. The secret to this lies in guitarist James Root's unique style and drummer Roy Mayorga's unyielding intensity. Root and singer Corey
