A pedophile is leaving the state of California because a judge ordered him to keep clear of places in which children gather. The man, Jack McClellan, told reporters, “I have to leave the state, really, I can’t live here under this Orwellian protocol,” and that “it’s nightmarish.”
McClellan, who is 45 years old, first got his attention from authorities when he posted photos of children on his Web site and talked about how he liked to go to libraries, parks and other places where little girls gathered. His Web site has since been taken down.
When asked about the Web site McClellan said that he used it as therapy and said he would not do anything illegal. However, Superior Court Judge Melvin Sandvig has issued an injunction as well as a three year restraining order that permanently prohibits Jack McClellan to be within 30 feet of any place were children gather.
