A new report from the online magazine Inside Higher Ed reveals that a researcher has caught universities loading their publicity photographs with black students.
“Sometimes you see the same black kid in every picture,” said George Dehne, who runs an admissions consulting firm and was quoted in the online report.
“We tell colleges that it’s a mistake [...]
Blocks and building toys are always a big hit with both little boys and girls but the problem with blocks is that there are few ways to recreate blocks and make them in to something new and different. Haba has come up with stacking animals to replace those traditional square blocks and they have really [...]

You know, sometimes I think about the formation of a company that makes a series of special events planning and many things well. Of course, when you do something like that you need things like Stacking tables and chairs where you can use in the events. And if you had to buy all those to his own store and transport them and that could be beautiful but expensive.Fortunately there is a place that ma

I was going though the photos on our digital camera tonight, and found this picture from a few days ago of Emmett playing in the pantry.
Emmett likes to open the door to the pantry sometimes, and play with the soup cans.
On this particular night he was seeing just how many cans he could stack on top of each other before they fell over.

Each month you pay the minimums and although you KNOW you've got a handle on it - you are not charging your credit card or accumulating new debts anymore - it seems that you will be paying the minimum fees forever.
Did you know that HOW you pay your debts can affect how soon you will finishing paying them off - even if you keep paying the same amount for debt every month? Of course you might be
Nowadays seems like there is no limit to xmas tree to greeny grass trees. Even fabric can do the work. This Stacking Fabric Christmas Trees is from The Small Object Steno Pad. She even provided a online downloadable template for this.Nowadays seems like everyone is so kind too share their template. Good thing.Beside that, she shares alot of craft ideas that I have bookmark her at my RSS feed
¿no? Uf, no me veo jugando al parchis o a la oca con este tío... xD

IBM Invents Vertical Stacking (Sandwich) Technology: Free Calls, SMSIBM the company behind Bluegene/L (the world’s fastest super computer till now) has found a way to transfer data and signals between chips by using ‘through-silicon-vias‘ a breakthrough technology that will make possible the chips and processors to vertical mount(silicon sandwiches) on each other via silicon vias for a much better ,faster ,smaller and power efficient computer systems.Till now the the chips are used to be connected through the metal wires that connects the chips to its sideby chips, the latest technology by IBM promises to allow multiple chips to vertically stacked together(connected by tungsten filled pipes, etched through the silicon) allowing more efficient data transfer capability .Intel 80 core teraflop chip was also based on the vertical stacking technology.(Click on Read more to expand)Application and advantages:-Speed boost in multicore environment.-Wireless communication systems.-Because o
Up until today I had no idea Dice Stacking was even a hobby let alone a sport to some people. Well after watching this video I was pretty impressed and astonished. This guy really does have some skill.

Quoted from the owner of the video clip: "I filmed my cousin(in law), Jeff, doing this new sport-stacking thing - pretty cool... He is part of the world record holding relay team...this is in practise, missing the world record by two tenths of a second. It wouldnt have counted because he screwed up the timer though..."
Focus stacking can be used to increase the available depth of field in a shot. You might want to do this where you just can't get the required DOF no matter what aperture you use, or where you are using fairly open apertures to minimize diffraction softening but still want to significant DOF.

You heard it right now it will be possible to create a single 4 GB memory module for the PC's .Samsung the leader in semiconductor technology announced that it has developed the highly efficient Stacking technology using the ‘through silicon via’ (TSV) technology that will make possible to have smaller ,faster and efficient RAM solutions and will also consume less power. The new technology boasts of providing next generation packaging solutions that will make it possible to make high density and smaller size memory modules.(Click on Read more to expand)About this innovative technology:It is somewhat similar to the IBM vertical stacking technology that we have reviewed two weeks before, because it also uses the same ‘through silicon via’ (TSV) technology. The new wafer-level-processed stacked package (WSP) will consist of four 512 Mb DDR2 ( double data rate, second generation) DRAM (dynamic random access memory) chips which will be combined to get 2 Gbs of high density memory th

This guy is quality! Dice stacking isn’t something I’d normally be interested in, to do or to watch on YouTube, but the tricks and skill that this bloke shows off makes me interested. Plus it helps that he’s taken the wise decision to have Johnny Cash playing in the background, which helps set the whole thing off. I particularly like the two handed double swipe trick which must take some doing, in fact, I think I’ll go and have a practice right now!

Already a lock for the title of Worst President Ever, George W. Bush doesn't seem content with basking in the glow of his victory, he wants to keep screwing up the country for generations to come. We already saw what he's done to the Supreme Court whose sole responsibility from this point forward is playing a game called "who can be more rabidly conservative." We already know that he's gotten rid of all the actual scientists at the FDA and other advisory groups in favor of non-sensical "yes-men" with no apparent compunction to base any of their decisions on reality. And we've also seen the FCC rollback it's activities to the 1950's.Now we have a new development that threaten to keep us all down for a long long time. This is a great piece of investigative journalism by Charlie Savage over at the Boston Globe. You can read the full article here:In a nutshell, what he's outlined is a frightening trend "The Bush administration is quietly remaking the Justice Department's Civil Rig
After a few days of flying high above the skies, seeking inspiration for new materials to blog, I decided to blog about me myself today. It's been a month in college now and messages that sound caring started to come in from my old pals. I knew that the time when I left was in a hurry, just after my KL vacation if I'm not wrong and I even don't have the chance to say a single goodbye to each of everyone of you. Sorry for that...My studies are still at par at the moment, at least I am satisfied with it. I get a consequtive 90 marks in my Accounting Transaction paper in my last last Progress Test and the Class Test yesterday and I am delighted with it. It may sound big headed to some but the feeling just came in somehow and maybe the fact that I have no accounting base spices all the things up.For my college life, I have many stories to tell and of course I am eager to splurt it all out. There's a variety of people here, which I've encountered and interact with. Some I may still lef

The Register reports that MIT scientists have unveiled a new, "stacking vehicle" concept which will "reinvent urban mobility." The concept is based on stacks of small vehicles which fold up to stack together into small racks which would be located near subway stations or bus stops. The vehicles would be powered by "wheel robots:" tiny, self-contained, digitally controlled reconfigurable electric motors in each wheel. In theory, the system provides all-wheel power and steering, easy navigation of urban areas and best of all, sideways parking. The vehicles would charge while folded on their racks; the user would "simply take the first fully charged vehicle from the front of the stack." The concept's website states that "The City car is NOT a
