Jack got a great sprinkler from Uncle Brett, Aunt Kristen and Emma for his birthday and we just got a chance to get it out and use it over the weekend. He was a little unsure of it at first, but once Kyle ran through it once with him, he became a pretty big fan of playing in the sprinkler.
On the weekend Cooper had two more 'unofficial' walks following his first 'unofficial' walkies last weekend (only another three weeks or so before they become 'official').

The story of fire sprinklers begins with a piano factory, and a man named Henry. Henry Parmelee is credited with creating the first fire sprinkler around the year 1864. I just found out that it is possible for homeowners like us to be able to control our sprinkler through our computer or pc. Now, that is great! I would recommend it to everyone looking for a hassle free lawn sprinkler controller. It is not only hassle free but time saving because it is an automatic PC Irrigation Controller, and is done through a computer which is so convenient because one could be sitting in front of the computer surfing the net while at the same time watering the lawn. I mean you don't have to go outside and do it yourself, but just stay in the house and do it from there. So, that is innovative.

Charleston is a personal city for me. Growing up in upstate South Carolina, I enjoyed trips to what Carolinians often call “The Holy City.” We’d shop at the City Market, and enjoy walking along the Battery where old homes and inns bring history to the forefront. My husband and I spent a week in Charleston on our honeymoon. For many years my brother owned a small place on one of the islands near Charleston. My family spent many summer vacations there. When I read about the nine firefighters who lost their lives Monday, I felt a great sadness wash over me.
My father worked as a firefighter in the Naval Shipyard in Charleston when he was a young man. He was my grandmother’s only son to serve stateside in the war; her two other sons served in the United States Army and were stationed overseas. I still have the buttons from my father’s uniform.
