I just had to write about this. I've been using the pop-up sponge from Williams Sonoma which I discovered a year ago.Since then, I never went back to Scotch brite and O-celo. This sponge is awesome. It delivers its purpose and doesn't disintegrate quick. Before first use it looks like this.When wet, it gets to this size and will be like this till you chuck them.In fact, you can wash it with your dishes in this. And by the way, it lasts for months. * Cake baked using a frying pan! * I was looking for my recipe on pan-baked cookies and I found the recipe for pan baked sponge cake instead. Since I had all the ingredients required, I 'baked' this instead of cookie.This result of the pan-baked cake isn't that bad. It's not as spongy. Although the texture is not a good as the oven-baked version, the taste is quite close. The KBS TV2 entertainment-educational show “Sponge” has advanced to the finals of the 47th Golden Rose Awards in the TV show category.A KBS official said March 28 that the show was the only KBS program this year to advance to the finals and will compete with the programs of the world’s largest TV networks such as BBC of the U.K.The Golden Rose award is a prestigious entertainment program award that is often called the Emmy Award of entertainment shows. Beat butter until creamy, gradually add the sugar and beat well. Add the yolks, one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in the pecans and the next three ingredients. Beat the egg whites until they're stiff peaks then fold them into the batter and pour it into the prepared pans.
