These cups are anything but spill proof. Even though they are cheap (4 for $3.95), they leak and the lid is really easy to get off. My son has gotten the lid off numerous times. I think these cups are meant for older babies. Stick with the kind where the lid screws on and you will be OK. Alternative-rock band The Spill Canvas are back with their brand-new album. "No Really, I'm Fine" - which debutted on market October 2nd, is their 3rd album and which I believe their best album to date. There are actually few songs that really stands out like "The Truth", "Saved" [which was featured on Sound of Superman], "Connect the Dots", "Appreciation and the Bomb" and "One Thing is for Sure". The album itself was well engineered, the mixing, the timing and their vocals really stands-out. If you're looking for an easy listening alternative-rock album - then I am confident to recommend and share this album. It's really a must-have album. It’s like the Exxon Valdez stopped at my house. It’s a beautiful summery day and I open my front door to find a FedEx package on my doorstep. The shirt I ordered for my husband from L.L. Bean has arrived! I put on a pair of shoes and trot out first to the mailbox. I clutch the mail and the Fed Ex package to my chest as I walk up the path to the front door . I walk into the house and throw the mail and the package on the couch, as I always do. I notice my hands feel very oily. I notice small oil spots on the mail. What gives? The culprit becomes apparent - the Fed Ex package is drenched in what appears to be motor oil. And it’s sitting on my couch. A whirlwind of activity ensues while I try to remove the oil from my couch cushion, the floor, and myself. I scrub a section of the floor where I had placed the package for a moment. I scrub my couch cushion with some non-toxic laundry detergent; lastly I change my clothes and launder them. I called FedEx and they were very

A geyser of oil sprung up from the streets of a Vancouver suburb yesterday, after a construction crew's backhoe inadvertently broke a pipeline that connected a refinery to a refuelling facility in... Earth-centred news for the health of air, water, habitat and the fight against global warming

Sometime around noon today, a construction crew working on the Barnet Highway (around Ridge Avenue and Inlet Drive) struck oil! More specifically they ruptured a pipeline that feeds crude to a nearby refinery. Idiots! Who says there’s never any action in Burnaby? According to news reports, a river of oil is flowing down the road and into the Burrard Inlet, which runs alongside the entire stretch of the highway (hence its clever name). Surrounding homes were coated in oil (that’s going to leave a stain), and residents were evacuated and the highway has been shut down — probably for a couple days. Of course, the major concern now is the oil in the water, which is flowing to Port Moody (shit!) and not Vancouver. This video was shot as the geyser of oil shot 20 metres into the air for half an hour. TSA Uses Web to Counter Mother's Allegation of Improper DetentionFederal security officials took the unusual step yesterday of posting an incident report and security camera footage on their Web site to counter allegations that screeners and police officers at Reagan National Airport mistreated a mother and her toddler last week. At issue is whether Monica Emmerson, a former Secret Service officer and District resident, was improperly detained when she spilled water out of her child's sippy cup.Emmerson's story: As she was going through security, a screener with the Transportation Security Administration asked if there was water in her 19-month-old son's sippy cup.
