According to the last report, almost 155,000 families had lost their homes through foreclosure proceedings, which is a rate of one per 194 homes in the US. The worst fear for the government is how many more foreclosed properties will they get to see this year? Will the number of repo properties increase? Will there be more delinquencies? I have an update on the clusters of Encyclia tampenisis , or Butterfly Orchids that are growing on my oak tree. While I was at my property exploring I took a few pictures of the orchids growing. It was a little difficult due to there location, but if you click on the first picture and look I can count at least 5 spikes in that 1 clump. Along with some new ferns opening up. This is very exciting for me because I have never seen them bloom before. The first neighborhood picture is across from my property, and the second shows the back of my property. OK these little guys are definitely high-scorers on the cute-o-meter that's for sure!  I think it's funny how the UK article references how 'convenient' they are as pets because they sleep all day and wake up when you get home from work. I do worry, though, about what happens when they're not these adorable baby hedgehogs anymore and they get dumped in the hedgerows to fend for themselves. These are bred in captivity and are not the same as the native hedgehogs - I see two possible bad things happening: either they overrun the native population and muck up the ecosystem, or they become easy pickings for foxes and stray dogs or cats. The newly re-designed Playstation Portable Slim sold 15,564 units the week of September 3-9, but then spiked up an incredible amount to 95,487 due to the release of Square Enix’s Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII which was released on September 13th. The jump in sales of the PSP though was also due to the Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Bundle, which included the re-designed PSP Slim before it’s official release date of September 20th, allowing Final Fantasy fans to snag both the game and system a little early. BlogRush was launched recently by John Reese and the amount of attention it has received is just amazing. I don’t think any other site of its category has ever received the kind of attention that BlogRush received. For those not aware, BlogRush calls itself a ‘Blog Syndication Network’. Basically, you show one of their widgets on your site (you can see it on the sidebar), and for every impression their widget gets, you get impressions of your blog on our blog sites. This can help generate some additional traffic to your site. It works on the pyramid structure, i.e., you get a percentage of syndications each time your referral’s site shows the widget. So, the higher you are in the pyramid structure, in theory, you should get that much more traffic. So does BlogRush work? I’ve had a few people sign up under me and I’ve seen only a small inflow of traffic from this widget. So, it is worth the effort of putting on your site? I think its too soon to say

During my time here in the Canadian Rockies, I have spoken to hundreds of people visiting this incredible area and many of them arrived in Banff from the West Coast by train and motorcoach. As locals, I think we all hope to one day have the chance to experience it for ourselves.Recently I got that chance, travelling from Banff to Vancouver and back. During our trip, we stopped at the last spike and it made me realize that without it, none of this would have been possible. For those that don't know the history, the last spike was driven into the last rail on November 7, 1885. Work started in the East and the West. The rails were to link up in the middle. It was on this day that the two rails finally reached each other. With this last spike, a coast-to-coast Canadian railway was born. In-game advertising on next-generation gaming systems is expected to grow to $852 million by 2011, fueled largely by connectivity enhancements in the consoles. The projection is part of a forecast released by ABI Research. "The growth and interest in this generation [of game consoles] is in part because the number of connected consoles are much, much greater," said Michael Wolf, research director, digital home, at ABI Research. "Attach rates for consoles are around 50 percent for this generation. When you have that many consoles connected to the Internet, it delivers a much wider base to deliver advertising to." Two teams of three investigators compete to be the first to accurately solve brutal homicide cases from all across America within 48 hours. I'm seeing a trend in lady's fall shoes that's knocking me out and sending me out to search for ankle boots. The ones that I'm loving like crazy so far are these super juicy delicious black suede leather ones with a nice spike heel. Not too high, but just right. I've seen women with ankle high red boots, black boots and some purple ankle boots. One thing is for sure, ankle boots WILL be worn this fall with wrap dress and other outfits.
