I was browsing sites on developments concerning the 2008 Beijing Olympics when I came upon news about the Speedo LZR Racer swimsuit, which is making noise in the sport of swimming! Developed with NASA, the Speedo LZR Racer swimsuits reputedly make swimmers go 2% faster! Two percent may not mean a lot, but we’re taking about the Olympics here, friends! Two percent is like an eternity in the Games! And I kid you not! Since the Speedo LZR Racer swimsuit debut in February 2008, a total of 19 long-course world records have been set and four short-course marks! Wow! That’s a lot of shattered records in anyone’s book!
