I've been stewing over Punky's choice for her second daughter for two days now. Some celeb names are shockers, some a bit funky, but this one made me bite my cheek. What in the world did Soleil's daughter do to deserve Jagger Joseph Blue? It's enough to give any sane person serious rectal pucker. Jagger is rough and comical sounding and brings to mind the German word Jäger which means 'fighter/hunter'. It's a moniker deserving only of dogs, cats and Mick's last name. Joseph is in homage to a recently passed significant person in Soleil's life. Pour faire taire les mauvaises langues et pour répondre aux curieux, je vous signale qu’ici il fait un temps superbe depuis début août (bon OK on a eu une semaine de pourrie mi-août et quelques jours par ci par là mais c’est tout).
Tous les matins je pars travailler avec le soleil et un magnifique ciel bleu. Pas un nuage à l’horizon, pas de pluie non plus.
Les températures ont pas mal chuté le matin mais dans la journée ça reste agréable. La seule pluie que j’ai vu depuis longtemps était française.
Espérons que ça dure (ou pas dirons les écolo ou les pessimistes du climat). Moi j’aime beaucoup l’été anglais en automne !!!

Cirque Du Soleil is one of the most wonderful troupes on the planet. Their shows are sensory festivals that are a humanists dream. They extol dreams and imagination combined with incredible artistry, physical amazement and enchanting music.
I have seen 7 different Cirque Du Soleil shows and have never seen a bad one. Some are better than others of course, but the Montreal based troupe never dissappoints.
Cirque is in town with their new show Corteo. A dreamlike piece that takes place at the main character’s funeral. A bit odd, but the avant-garde Cirque always is.
