I recently posted an update on our efforts to adopt a second time but it's been a while since I've posted an update on Snuggle Bug. I thought I'd share some pics of him while I'm at it.Snuggle Bug is growing like a weed lately. He'll be turning 3 in December and right now he's about 28 lbs. and is roughly 35" tall. His feet have grown to a size 8 so I'm now buying size 8 1/2 winter shoes so that he has room to grow. He's moved from 24 mos to 2T clothes. One day he'll make it to 3T.Snuggle Bug's such a smart and inquisitive little boy. He learns things quickly...well, all except for his colors, for some reason he still likes everything to be blue. His potty training is going well, at least the daytime aspect of it. He still has occasional accidents, but overall he's doing really well!Snuggle Bug is talking up a storm. I think being in daycare (yes, he's still there because Oronzo's contract job is going longer than expected) is actually helping in this area. His interaction

In December, we bought Snuggle Bug a bike for his 2nd birthday. Oronzo took it home, put it together, and then Snuggle Bug hopped on. He was so excited!Unfortunately, his little legs couldn't reach the pedals. Oronzo tried to tape wooden blocks on to give Snuggle Bug some extra height, but that didn't work. Being pushed on his bike by Mommy or Daddy was fun for Snuggle Bug, but not fun for Mommy or Daddy!Yesterday afternoon, Snuggle Bug and I were outside playing. I saw his tricycle in the driveway and asked him if he wanted to ride it. "Yesth" was his prompt reply! I figured I'd push him around the block once and call it good.Snuggle Bug climbed on his tricycle, put his feet to the pedals, and to much to my amazement he pedaled and the tricycle moved a bit! It's hard for me to believe, but this past weekend we celebrated Snuggle Bug's 2nd birthday with a party held at our house.Where have these years flown? I kid you not, it feels like just yesterday that I held him in my arms at 2 minutes old and marveled at how light he felt and how much thick, dark hair he was born with.
