So were off to slovenia next week on an Easyjet flight to Ljubijana for 2 nights to meet our developers, see the site in action and iron out any queries or potential problems. This is really exciting for us as it will be the first time we have seen a working model of the site and see results returned via the Worldspan XML interface. We are also really keen to see the Powershopper functions in action for flights and see how much more potential this will give us.
This really is a busy old time at the moment for us, signing off and amending graphics by the page and making sure we get this site perfect for the end user experience.

In questi giorni già di tristi notizie mancava solo questa. Un orso proveniente dall'Italia e' stato abbattuto in Slovenia. Lo rende noto una nota del ministero dell'Ambiente, secondo cui ''un orso bruno maschio adulto e' stato abbattuto in Slovenia, in localita' Predjama a 10 km dal confine italiano. L'esemplare, munito di radiocollare nell'ambito del progetto dell'Universita' di Udine autorizzato dal ministero dell'Ambiente, e' stato colpito da cacciatori in un'area in cui la caccia all'orso e' consentita''. I cacciatori sloveni erano stati avvertiti di non abbattere animali con radiocollari ma probabilmente questo era poco visibile. Esiste una sorta di 'cortesia' che il governo sloveno usa nei confronti degli animali con radiocollare che provengono dal territorio italiano, anche se di origine slovena. Wow I am getting into this! Last night the Dutch national team was in Slovenia fighting for their chance to be in the European Championships next year. It was a great game to watch, Slovenia team is intense and aggressive while the Dutch were simply trying to keep up. They did a good job in keeping the Slovenians at bay but it was no easy task, especially when three of the players were rookies. The Dutch finally scored 85 minutes into the game with Giovanni Van Bronckhorst kicking in the only goal which was deflected twice before actually making it in the net. Now I am not a regular viewer of soccer as I was brought up with football and baseball on every weekend however, last year was the World Cup in Germany and I watched the Dutch try their heart out to take the cup.
