Hope you are ready to shuffle your line-up this week because the bye weeks are officially here. It is possible that you might be without full time starters like Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson or Joseph Addai entering week four’s action. That’s not usually a good thing but lets see if we can help you minimize [...]

Last night on Football Jabber Radio we had Adam, the football loving Brit that is taking in 35 NFL games around the country. It’s funny to hear an Englishman’s assessment of how Packer fans basically dress up as cheese. Poor guy didn’t know where he was, turns out he is in North Eastern [...]
Image: Jason HillLast week I touched on a few potential Fantasy Football Sleepers and this week I want to continue that theme with a few more young players that have enormous Fantasy Football Potential. These players probably won’t finish on top statistics wise, but could provide you with some good depth if you have some of your top players get injured, or if you need to start different players

When preparing for your fantasy football draft it’s easy to just look at last year’s leaders and make your draft boards up. But the problem with that is not all of last year’s winners will be winners this year and more importantly when all of the top players are gone a lot of amateur Fantasy Football Coaches/GMs are left scratching their heads in the later rounds. It’s time to finalize yo

Here’s something to help get your wheels turning in preparation for your fantasy football draft. After devouring every podcast, scanning the mock draft results over on Fantasy Football Calculator’s ADP tool and reading piece after piece of fantasy football information over the past few weeks, I have started to compile a list of players [...]
Arms and Sleepers began one night in the back of an ambulance in Cambridge. In an alleyway a man was bleeding with a cassette player in hand, the play button still on. What sounded like recordings of a gospel choir blared from the tin speaker, while down the street a jazz band could be heard. The man was dying. He dropped the cassette player on the cement and closed his eyes, the sound carrying th

Danish one man project Death Valley Sleepers has published a new track called Heartbreaking Sound and once again the music has been made free to download from Myspace. It has almost become a bit tedious constantly comparing the band to The Raveonettes, but listen to it and you'll understand that it’s quite difficult not to. And as long as the Tobias (the man behind) is capable of writing songs like this (Sune Wagner would or should at least be proud if he had written this tune), I see absolutely no point in him changing anything.+ Heartbreaking Sound
While everyone is talking who is going to be going in the first round, I am going to talk about some guys that aren't getting a lot of press that could very well make an impact at the next level.1) Xavier Omon RB Northwest Missouri State University-Yes I might be biased, but I have seen him play for the past two years in person and ladies and gentleman the man flat out has game. Over 2,300 yards this last season and is the only back in any division college football to rush for over 1,500 yards in four consecutive seasons. He rushed for over 600 yards in two playoff games (309 against Chadron State and 292 against Grand Valley State). Yes he doesn't have Darren McFadden speed but the guy has pretty good speed running a 4.55 40 yard dash. I can easily see Omon being taken in the late rounds

Well here you are, mere days from what you’ve been lusting over for months now. Your fantasy football championship isn’t far off now. You just have to make a few more good decision and its yours.
Well lets see if we can’t help you make a few of those decisions. Let’s get to it.
Start’em if you got’em
Jamal Lewis RB (CLE) - First time this year I picked a guy two weeks in a row. This guy is on a roll. Not only did he rush for over a hundred in a foot of snow last weekend but the last time he faced Cinci he lit them up for 212 yards. I don’t see another 200 but 125 and a touchdown seems like a very good bet.
Fred Taylor RB (JAC) - The man was left out of the Pro Bowl again and he gets to take it out on the Oakland Raiders who just happen to be one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. No further explanation needed. Look for 125+ easy and at least 1 trip to the endzone.
Sit’em if you’ve got em
Jon Kitna QB (DET) - Not sure you
Well here you are only a few weeks away from the title. Making the right call is more critical now then at any other point in the season.
But don’t sweat it my friend. Just keep doing what you’ve been doing to get here and you’ll be alright. Here are this weeks picks.
Start’em if you got’em
Willis McGahee RB (BAL) - Miami is absolutely awful against the run. They also seem to be getting worse and worse as the season goes on. The are allowing over 155 yards per game which is dead last in the league. McGahee hasn’t been burning it up as consistently as he should this year but look for a solid 125+ with at least 1 touchdown.
Final stats: 104 and zero touchdowns.
Final thoughts: Disappointing performance for the Ravens but lets give Miami their props. About freakin time.
Earnest Graham RB (TB) - Simple math in this one. The Buc’s are averaging 116 per game while Atlanta is 27th in the league and allowing 123 yards per game. Not only that but in
If you are reading this weeks edition of the fantasy football start’em sit’em, congratulations. You have made it to the post season and are that much closer to your ultimate goal.
Whether its more cash or good old fashioned bragging rights, you are almost there. But, before we get ahead of ourselves, we have some business to take care of, here are this weeks picks:
Start’em if you got’em
Ryan Grant RB (GB) - Wanna keep your banged up, legend for a quarterback healthy? Then run the ball right? After all, not only are the Raiders allowing 148 yards per game but they have given up 20 touchdowns in 2007. This week look for Grant to continue his late season surge with 100 yard, two touchdown performance against the Raiders.
Final stats: 156 yards, 1 touchdowns and 2 catches for 6 yards.
Final thoughts: If the game didn’t get so out of hand he may have had an even bigger day.
Jamal Lewis RB (CLE) - Funny how everyone, including myself, was down on him durin
This Fantasy Football Start’em Sit’em could be one of the most important of the season for many of you. You could be one of the fringe owners looking to earn a spot in your leagues first round of playoffs next week. There is no room for error and its a loooooong offseason.
With that said you probably have a lot to go over before you finalize your starting roster, so lets get right to it. Here are this weeks picks:
Start’em if you got’em
Thomas Jones RB (NYJ) - Jones has been pretty inconsistent running the ball this year but I have a feeling he will get it going this weekend against Miami like he did in their last meeting (110 yards on the ground). The Dolphins are ranked 30th in the league because they are allowing 148 yards per game as well as allowing the second most rushing touchdowns in the league with 13. Hell, Willie Parker had to run through a swamp on Monday night and still posted 81 yards on them. Put Jones down for 125 and a at least 1 touchdown.
Fin
Before we talk a little start’em sit’em I want to wish you a happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy the food, the football and everything else you are thankful for.
This week, along with some added content, I am putting down a few names in places that may surprise you. Check them out:
Start’em if you got’em
Vince Young QB (TEN) - I think Vince is going to continue is hot streak against Cinci this week. Over the past two weeks he has thrown for 257 and 305 yards against much stronger defenses than the Bengals 30th ranked unit. He also has been racking up yards on the ground; 52 against Jacksonville and 74 plus a touchdown against Denver. He will deal with the sore quad to put up over 275 yards and 2 td’s passing and 50 yards and a td rushing.
Chris Henry WR (CIN) - All he has done since returning from his suspension is put up numbers. In two weeks he has 12 catches for 180 and a TD. Also, this week he may be the number two if Housh isn’t able to go. All that and
I can’t believe that we are a week away from Thanksgiving already. Where does the time go?
Hopefully many of you are either in position for your leagues playoffs or are hanging tough. Keep your nose to the grindstone because there are always a few guys that jump onto the fantasy radar screen this time of year. With that said, lets see who I can dig up for you this week.
Start’em if you got’em
Willis McGahee RB (BAL) - He had 104 yards the last time he played Cleveland and I haven’t seen anything out of the Browns defense since to make me believe that they can keep him from doing it this time. Also, as shocking as this may sound, with Boller under center and a healthier Mark Clayton, I think the Ravens will be able to keep the defense honest and give Willy some room to run. Look for 125 yards and a touchdown to go with his 4 catches for 45 yards.
Minnesota Vikings Defense - This week the Vikings best tackler Antoine Winfield should be back on the field after m
Here are some waiver wire and sleeper picks for you to check out. There are a ton of guys on my list because I play in some deeper leagues. I need to look a little deeper than most.
May be available now…
**UPDATE** Chester Taylor/Mewelde Moore RB (MIN) - Per Brad Childress, by way of the NFL on sirius, Adrian Peterson may miss some action with a LCL tear. Chester would be the main beneficiary but Moore might see some action too. The Vikes are home against the Raiders this Sunday and the Raiders aren’t very good at stopping the run.
Chris Henry WR (CIN) - He’s back and he didn’t waste any time getting back in the action. 4 catches for 99 yards.
L.J. Smith TE (PHI) - 4 for 49 and a touchdown against Washington. He could be a forgotten man on your leagues waiver wire and could be solid down the stretch if the Eagles get it going. Miami next week.
Marc Bulger QB (STL) - Is it possible that someone gave up on him in your league and just dumped him? If so, you c

Can you feel the tension build every time you’re deciding on who to put into your starting line-up? Me too my friend. That could only mean one thing; it is crunch time.
It’s that time of the year where the championship money is within your grasp and the yearlong bragging rights are on the line. Your fantasy football league playoffs are only a handful of weeks away and you need that extra little something that will put you over the top. Here are few suggestions for you.
Start’em if you got’em
Marshawn Lynch RB (BUF) - Everything you watched him do last week, expect to see it again because the Dolphin’s just plain stink against the run. In fact, the only team in the league that is worse than Miami in that category is the Broncos (more on them later). Lynch had his break out game last week and tasted success NFL style. Look for him to build on last weeks performance with 125+ yards and one touchdown rushing with 4 catches for 50 yard and a touchdown receiv
Here are some waiver wire and sleeper picks for you to check out. There are a ton of guys on my list because I play in some deeper leagues. I need to look a little deeper than most.
May be available now…
**UPDATE** Musa Smith RB (BAL) - Willis McGahee went down with a concussion last night late in the game. Those are ussually tricky so it is hard to say what his status might be for this week. You might want to grab Musa because if he does play, he should find lot of success against the Bungals D.
Detroit Defense - I should have said something about them last week but I almost didn’t believe it. They have been great the last two games; they have held two consecutive solid opponents to just 7 points, have forced 8 turnovers and recorded 7 sacks. Oh, and they play a struggling Arizona this week.
Maurice Morris RB (SEA) - Alexander wasn’t even on the field for most of the fourth quarter, instead Morris got the bulk of the work. Alexander just doesn’t look like h
We are past the midpoint of the season and before you know it your fantasy football play-offs will be in full swing. Every start becomes even more critical from this point forward if you expect to be in the playoffs. That is why my friend I took a little extra care in choosing my seven players for this weekends games.
Real quick, here’s a little reminder of how I have things set up. I list two players who I think deserve a start and two players that I think should ride the pine. Also, I have another section that will deal with some of the gray area associated with some players. (more…)

**UPDATE** Ryan Grant RB (GB) - After his showing in Denver he should get at least one more start. Pick him up and be glad you did.
Adimchinobe Echemandu RB (HOU) - Not sure how you say`his name but he looked pretty decent against San Diego until the game got out of hand. 10 carries for 62 yards along with 2 catches for 11. Ahman Green was a last second mystery scratch and they cut Gado which gave AE had an opportunity to show something; he did. If you have a deep bench check him out because ya never know. (more…)
We are almost at the midpoint of the NFL season and soon it will be fantasy playoff time. This is the point in your season where you can make your move. A few of the player I have listed below may or may not give you a shot at doing just that.
Real quick, here’s a little reminder of how I have things set up. I list two players who I think deserve a start and two players that I think should ride the pine. Also, I have another section that will deal with some of the gray area associated with some players.
This section is called Sleepers: Don’t be surprised if. It will deal with players who, regardless of stature, will perform better or worse than expected. Rather than tell you that you should start or sit these players - since I do not know every circumstance surrounding your team in particular - I am just offering up a little food for thought for those of you who have tough decisions to make this weekend. So lets get to it. (more…)
Here are some waiver wire and sleeper picks that I didn’t see on the Bruno Boys week eight waiver wire report. I play in some deeper leagues so I need to look a little deeper than most.
Mostly it is just a list with a mix of slightly unknown guys who had big days and injury replacements. Some of these guys could help you out now or just provide you with some depth and/or upside on your bench. Check them out: (more…)
Did you know that Vinnie Testaverde outperformed Brett Favre, Vince Young and Kurt Warner last Sunday? Crazy isn’t it? Well this week I looked and I looked and I think I found a prediction almost as ludicrous.
But, before I tell you who and why, here’s a little reminder of how I have things set up. I list two players who I think deserve a start and two players that I think should ride the pine. Also, I have another section that will deal with some of the gray area associated with some players.

This week is a little tricky due to the fact that there are a whopping six teams on bye. But, I do think there are some definite starts, sits and sleepers.
Before I start, here’s a little reminder of how I have things set up. I still list two players who I think deserve a start and two players that I think should ride the pine. Also, I’ve added another section that will deal with some of the gray area associated with some players.

Week after week the injuries keep piling up. If you’ve been playing the waiver wire correctly over the past month you should have yourself a team that is solid and deep regardless of how good or bad you draft.

With four weeks in the books I figured I would switch up my start’em sit’em and sleeper list. I will still list two players who I think deserve a start and two players that I think should ride the pine. However I’ve added another section that will deal with some of the gray area associated with some players.

Every week this year there has been some solid players available at each position. That is why, bad draft or not, if you are good at playing the waiver wire you can build a pretty good team down the stretch. Here are some waiver wire and sleeper picks that I didn’t see on the Bruno Boys week five waiver wire report. Check them out:
Arizona Defense - They were able to keep a very good Pittsburgh offense in check for most of the game and have a pretty decent schedule coming up starting with the Rams in week 5.
Selvin Young RB (DEN) - Keep an eye on Travis Henry’s injury because if he misses any time this is the guy who will step in. Young looked very good yesterday so I find a way to add him now if you have Henry or if you have room to stash him on the bench. (more…)
The overall relaxation of the mind and the total securing of sleep is something that will surely be what most sleep deprived people are looking for. While most say it is entirely in the bed or mattress that they rest in, there are other add-ons such as the Dream Aid Pillow Covers which aim to add more relaxation towards how people want to tackle respite and sleep.
The key towards restful slumber is sleeping with positive thinking or freeing thought from any issues that may end up leading people not to sleep. Sleep leads to dreams and to get ideal and comforting dreams, the things running around at the back of the minds of most people need to be on a wonderful aspect rather than forgettable ones.
“Wouldn’t it be great to fall asleep easily, while manifesting positive thoughts through the subconscious? DreamAid, Inc. thought so. Just launched, is a collection of extraordinary Pillow Covers, each designed with a “dream” or “wish” for the person who recei
It is a well known fact that when it comes to sleeping habits, some people seem oblivious to the house falling down around them, while others are roused by the slightest noise that seems out of place. In a little known lifetime study conducted with questionable scientific reliability, I have come to the conclusion that many people who suffer from sleeping disorders owe their afflictions in no small part to allowing pets to share the bed chamber. The findings conclude that pet influences can be divided equally between cat and dog owners that allow their pets access to sleeping with their human caretakers, with slight variations in animal behaviors. The following pet activities, realized or not by their owners, are significant contributors to poor rest.Contributing Factors from Cats: 1. Pouncing in the dark on genitals.2. Growling at other cats prowling outside the bedroom window.3. Licking and grooming themselves next to a sleeper’s head.4. Pillow stomping back and forth during shifts
Here are my top week 1 fantasy football sleeper picks.Donte Stallworth (Patriots vs. Jets) - With Randy Moss not yet at full speed, look for Stallworth to get a lot of looks.Ladell Betts (Redskins vs. Dolphins) - Portis will play, but Betts will get carries.Brandon Jackson (Packers vs. Eagles) - Not sure if Jackson is still a sleeper, but he has a chance to prove himself in this game.Matt Schaub - (Texans vs. Chiefs) - Schaub takes over the Texans offense and should play well.DeShaun Foster - (Panthers vs. Rams) - The Rams can be run on, and Foster can be really good when he is on.
What do you think about planes having beds in economy cabin?German flag-carrier Lufthansa is investigating the development of a specialized all-sleeper configuration for the economy-class cabin on long-haul flights, and has been canvassing passenger opinion on the concept.Lufthansa is considering the sleeper-cabin for specific intercontinental services, possibly overnight flights, such as those to Johannesburg, Sao Paulo and Shanghai.Under the scheme a passenger would opt to book a bed for the flight rather than a regular economy-class seat.Lufthansa says that its studies are only preliminary and there are few further details available.Source & Image:flightglobal
Here's our list of the 2007 All-Pre Pro Pac 10 Sleepers Football Team (Preseason). They might not have started last year, they may not have won the starting job this spring, but they have the skills to change games if given the chance. The thing about sleeping is that we all know that most people sleep during the evening. But today, people are forced to sleep during the daytime to make up for lack of sleep or to adhere towards governing sleeping conditions such as insomnia and other known sleep disorders.
With this video, we can see the variance between a bird sleeping at night and an owl that sleeps at day. While people may not easily distinguish the difference, we can clearly see that at any time of the day, people may opt to sleep at day or at night.

Day One [QBs, RBs, and WRs] - Day Two [TEs, Ds, and Ks] - Day Three [Sleepers Part One] - Day Four [Sleepers Part Two] - Day Five [Mock Draft]Ah, the third year receiver is one of the sexiest things in fantasy football. It's been a long standing theory in the NFL that is takes a WR three years to grasp his teams offense and become truly effective. There's plenty of exception to the rule but never the less it's certainly worth the time to educate yourself what WRs are fall into the category. Braylon Edwards from Cleveland, Reggie Browns from Philadelphia, and Vincent Jackson from San Diego are at the top of the list. But today I wanted to dig up some true sleepers at WR. The first so happens to be a third year receiver, fancy that.Top Sleeper WRs-Brandon Jones, TEN... While his stats from his first two seasons aren't much to look at Jones will be Vince Young's go-to guy. With the QB situation in Tennessee no longer in the air (Why did they start last season with Kerry Collins?) as
Day One [QBs, RBs, and WRs] - Day Two [TEs, Ds, and Ks] - Day Three [Sleepers Part One] - Day Four [Sleepers Part Two] - Day Five [Mock Draft]"Sleeper" is a buzz word that gets used a lot in fantasy sports. It refers to a player who is undervalued causing them to be aviable late in drafts, but has the threat of turning in a very good season. Last season Frank Gore was a perfect example. He was widely ignored because of his vanillia rookie campaign and being a member of the 49ers, who had not produced a successful running back in quite some time.Below are my list of top sleepers at QB and RB. They are broken down into two sections: names to look for late in the draft and players who will most likely go undrafted, but could end the season with some value. Top Sleeper QBs-Philip Rivers, SD... Despite finishing 2006 as a top 10 QB Rivers is heads into this season ranked by most several spots lower in most fantasy drafts. He's efficient and does not turn the ball over (22 / 9, TD/INT rati
