Show the World You Love Skydiving Toursby Matthew AndersonThere is never an end to the odd sports that people want to do or combine. In May of 2007, a Swede called "Jonas" decided he wanted to combine two things he loves-tattoos and skydiving-by being tattooed while parachuting at 13,000 feet. He had to keep it simple, of course because it had to be done quickly. They must have used an altimeter w

Skydiving In The Army: A Great Way To Learn by Andrew Caxton The History Of Army Skydiving In the past 50 years or so, parachuting and skydiving have become a favorite sport for thousands around the world. Many see this great activity as the perfect way to spend a weekend afternoon. Some even plan their vacation around skydiving, seeking unique and beautiful places to see from the atmosphere. But,
Not a chance that I will ever do this and I'm not recommending it- it's not what I would call Arkansas Family Fun, but I know it is on the "bucket lists" of some of you out there and I was surprised to find information on skydiving in Arkansas. So, knowing that I'll never personally use it (or recommend it to anyone), I'm sto;; passing along what I found. Yikes and "don't try this
I was wanting to try skydiving for each year and as often as I would like to mention that my friends and family. My girlfriend was the only one who was really listening and they set up a surprise gift for my 25th Birthday. They grabbed me one night bag, hopped in the car, and [...]

I’m currently on vacation visiting my family for my sister’s high school graduation. We’ve had a great time visiting with everyone, and yesterday was our last day before heading back home. It was also one of the most exciting days because we all decided to go skydiving to celebrate my sister’s graduation and my Dad’s [...]

A blind man was describing his favorite sport, parachuting. When asked how this was accomplished, he said that things were all done for him: "I am placed in the door with my seeing eye dog and told when to jump. My hand is placed on my release ring for me and out I go with the dog.""But how do you know when you are going to land?" he was asked. "I have a very keen sense of smell, and I can smell the trees and grass when I am 300 feet from the ground" he answered."But how do you know when to lift your legs for the final arrival on the ground?" he was again asked. He quickly answered: "Oh, the dog's leash goes slack."
George H.W. Bush celebrated the grand reopening of his presidential museum on Saturday with a surprise skydive, his sixth and his first since 2004, when he jumped to celebrate his 80th birthday.
Bush jumped on Saturday strapped to an expert from the Army Golden Knights parachute team, as he did three years ago.
His first parachute jump was in 1944 when his plane was shot down over the Pacific island of Chi Chi Jima.

Has anyone done skydiving before? I did that 4 years ago before Clayton came along, which was a good decision cos' I wouldn't have done it if I was a mom then! DH and myself took up the courage to skydive from 14,ooo fit (tandem of course!) in Cairns and that was an experience of a lifetime. Honestly, I almost thought I was going to pass out when I was in the air at that time!Someone asked me if I will skydive in Hawaii... I looked at him and replied with a firm 'NO'! Actually, I was told that skydiving is becoming one popular sport in this state, challenging the popularity of surfing. Hundreds of tourists visit this place to experience a different thrill of skydiving in Hawaii. Flying high above the air while looking down at volcano craters and high-rise waves can only be experienced in skydiving in Hawaii. You can read more about what other things you do in Kauai travel blog if you plan to travel to the island. It should be quite nice to rent one of the Hawaii home rentals if yo
Não sei nem como descrever... o salto foi radical e o cara passa rente a montanha, quase encontando na neve. Vejam que incrível.

Almost Live takes you above Lover's Beach (where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean at the tip of Baja, Mexico) to see a different sort of sunset. Dropping from 13,000 feet, the free fall lasts for about one minute.
This has been a crazy weekend from A to Z!!! Am actually in the US again, good change of scenery from the UK especially with that horrendous weather, which is supposedly very nice now, but it doesn’t matter since it’s sunny everyday here.
Anyways, I’m a real adrenaline junkie and have tried lots of roller coasters and crazy rides, even reverse bungee jumping where your body needs to handle 6G. Having said that, there has always been one thing that topped my list of things to do, Skydiving. That is exactly what I did!!!
It was never on my mind during this trip, but a few girls suggested it and there was no hesitation. I suppose, it was meant to happen as initially, the girls were supposed to go 2 weeks ago but it didn’t work out. So this time, we ended up being 6, 3 girls and 3 guys. The venue: Williamstown, New Jersey, the largest skydiving site in eastern US.
Obviously, there were loads of papers to be signed, mainly outlining the risks and stating that “you cannot sue us
The Basics For Beginners
First and foremost, you may want to find a truly and reliable skydiving school. It can be a good idea to ask for a good reputation one. This is a quite easy task to do. The best places to start seeking on them are local airports, internet and phone books. Since skydiving is one of the more expensive sports to learn, you must decide how you want to learn and then you to check your pocket book.
There are three methods of training:
Tandem
Static line
Accelerated Free Fall (AFF).
All of these methods have their benefits and drawbacks, but we will touch more on those a little later.
What to do First? Safety and Heath tips.
The first thing to do is to consider health and safety.Know the risks involved before you get involved.Skydiving is not chess; you will not be sitting on an uncomfortable concrete bench moving your pieces around a game board. You are going to step out of an airplane and, in freefall, will reach speeds of up to 250 feet per second… that is 110 mile

A man goes skydiving for the first time. After listening to the instructor for what seems like days, he is ready to go. Excited, he jumps out of the airplane.About five seconds later, he pulls the ripcord. Nothing happens. He tries again. Still nothing. He starts to panic, but remembers his back-up chute. He pulls that cord. Nothing happens. He frantically begins pulling both cords, but to no avail.Suddenly, he looks down and he can't believe his eyes. Another man is in the air with him, but this guy is going up! Just as the other guy passes by, the skydiver - by this time scared out of his wits - yells, "Hey, do you know anything about skydiving?"The other guy yells back, "No! Do you know anything about lighting gas stoves?" Subscribe in a reader
