Although there are only a select number of skaters who go on to become professional figure skaters the sport is still enjoyed by many fans who can’t get enough of it. The Gospel, which includes Jens Linggard on bass and drummer Petter Lindgard as well as keyboardist Martin Gjerstad, are attempting to make music that has never before been recorded and to break down the boundaries of pop/indie/rock/dance etc. With this effort, they may very well need to try a little harder. Whilst Kira's vocals are wonderful, they do nothing more than sound like PJ Harvey in her pomp, and making out the actual lyrics of the song can be a little bit harder than one would want, especially when searching for that elusive radio hit. I went to Leonard Park in Mt. Kisco, New York to do some painting. There is a lovely Chinese style pavillion there overlooking the pond. The ice was starting to melt as the sun peeked in and out of the clouds. It's nice to finally get a little taste of spring!Last night was the opening of the Hudson Valley show at Freshman Fine Arts in Beacon. Many thanks to my friends and fans who came to see the show. My plans were to meet up with my friend down in SoHo to talk about doing a promo video for his shop but an hour or two later I ended up in Central Park skating breaking my knees. Even later, I found myself at a birthday party with about 14 people that I've never met before furious playing a Nintendo Wii and drinking Stella.
