Howdy folks, from the city that never sleeps (except when you stayed up all night at the airport trying to keep an eye on shifty “airport workers”)!  It’s late Wednesday night, and I’m enjoying our $12.99 24-hour Internet pass and so I thought I drop the world a line. A few weeks back, I placed an order on Amazon for a bunch of comic books. These included a great number of excellent books, including The Birth of Venom trade paperback, V for Vendetta, and a Frank Miller Batman book, Year One. I also ordered the remaining Sin City volumes not in my possession. However, I fucked up and didn't pay attention to what I was doing and accidentally ordered two of volume five, Family Values. Well, Amazon won't let me return it without paying out the ass for shipping, so I've decided to auction it off. Last night was a repeat of Saturday night. Only worse. We got virtually no sleep. Zane was in a miserable state, tossing and turning and crying. His fever came back and he was just uncomfortable. We also realized earlier in the day that he hadn't pooped in two days. The poor little guy was constipated. It explained why he just would not eat anything yesterday. Sin City 2 is the sequel to the 2005 movie Sin City, which was based on Frank Miller's comic book miniseries Sin City, which were later collected into bound graphic novels. It was originally scheduled for release in the summer of 2006, but due to scripting delays, IMDB states (as of 27 January 2007) that the film is set to be released on January 29, 2008 . Rodriguez will apparently begin filming in June 2007. It was revealed by director Robert Rodríguez that the story for the film was to be based around A Dame to Kill For, as well as a new story to be written by Frank Miller. After a hideous 16 hours of airports and jumbo jets, I arrived in the city of sin for my first ever visit. I had only been to the US once before on a 4 day stopover in Los Angeles on my way home from the UK about 8 years ago, so this was like arriving for the very first time. If you’ve watched Sin City, you probably know what the Sin City effect is. If not, it’s basically making pictures mostly black and white with only one or two colors. It’s usually used in showing or changing eye color to publish around online communities. I used the technique in one of my dog’s pictures.
