Press the Tab key, hold down Ctrl and Shift, and left-click the Chart Wizard toolbar icon. Eu não sei vocês, mas como bom amante de aviação vira e mexe eu me pegava brincando com o recurso de perspectiva do Google Earth e ficava fingindo que estava voando sobre as paisagens fotorealistas. Bem, agora não preciso mais fingir: a nova versão do Google Earth traz um mini simulador de vôo embutido. Para ativar, basta apertar Command + Alt + A (maiúsculo) no Mac, ou Ctrl + Alt + A (maiúsculo) no Windows. O sistema permite escolher entre dois aviões (um monomotor ou um caça de guerra) e escolher um aeroporto numa pequena lista. Os controles não são dos mais sensíveis, e tenho dúvidas do realismo da física do vôo. Mas dá pra se divertir bastante. Williams and their sponsor RBS held series of Grand Prix Challenge Live shows around the world - London, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong. They challenged members of the public to set their fastest lap in a state-of-the-art F1 simulator in a full-size F1 show car. The fastest man of all was So Wai Sai, van driver from Hong Kong.
His 1:15 lap was enough to make it to the Hong Kong final, where he clocked 1:11. That was reportedly between 1 to 5 seconds quicker than times of other world finals winners. The prize - a race in the real F1 car in Valencia, Spain, with Williams F1 drivers as his tutors. I recently downloaded ver 4.2 and it is indeed there. Haven't flown it yet. In fact I have to pack and go to work so maybe in a couple days.To access the flight simulator:1. Open Google Earth (duh)2. In a windows system press CTRL+ALT+(Capital)A3. Follow the pop-up menu instructions.I tried the first time from somewhere far above the planet and nothing happened. Downloaded the latest version of Google Earth today (version 4.2) and it turns out it has a hidden Flight Simulator! Cool or what. Just press Ctrl + Alt + A and off you go. You get to pick from two different planes.

Anyway I took it for a test flight over Cork and it was pretty cool. Takes a little getting used to though. But the “Start from current position” option is very useful.
