One of the most energy sucking problems you can have in a home is leaks. Leaks can make your home feel drafty and cold. Since you feel more cold, you would use more energy to warm up your house and therefore increase your energy bills.

Many times, many of us have been to Opera. Yet, all these times we were caught not to know simple things about the Opera terminology, or what a contralto means. In this article we have gathered basic information and links for that next time, where with extreme coolness we can show (off) our knowledge of this subject. After all it is a good subject for unique discussions. Let’s begin.

I'm feeling really quite stiff now, but yesterday was so nice it is worth the sore legs. Such a normal kind of day as well, although I haven't had a proper pottering kind of day in ages, not even at the weekends because I'm always feeling I'm meant to be doing something.I wasn't in work yesterday - the car had to go in for a service and MOT so I couldn't get to work. Took the car across town to the garage for 9am, then walked into the centre of town. Dropped off three pairs of boots for re-heeling, which I've been meaning to do for months, then had a browse round HMV (bought the debut CD by Airbourne - Runnin' Wild) and Waterstones (was looking for The Spiral Dance by Starhawk which has been recommended as a Wicca introduction, but they didn't have it).Headed down the lower high street in
Some folks are paying dearly because they don't know a few simple things. I'll show a few things that you should know in other to save more or make certain adjustments. This article does not pretend to show you all you need to know in auto insurance (That will take a fairly long book). However, it's a good starting point or refresher. Here we go...1. All professions are not equal -- At least from the auto insurance viewpoint. Scientists, for example, pay a lot less than business owners. Ask your agent if your occupation attracts certain discounts.2. Those that live in crowded areas are more likely to have one form of car accident or another when compared to people who live in rural sparsely populated areas. If you can live in a rural area you'll get the best rates possible for your profile
I felt a pinch at my heart when my bottle of Meiji chocolate milk was finished up. That cost me thirty bucks during a grocery shopping with my mum. I loved to slip them bit by bit and I believed gobbling up nice food or drinks was not an enjoyment. I only had half a cup, diluted with normal milk, and the rest was finished up by my elder brother.I felt another pinch when my younger brother confirmed that my Nokia N3120 was sold for donkey months ago. I got it for $180 during my NS days and was preparing to use it for reservice. The condition was superb under my gentle care, except for a few very minor tiny scratches at the back. I lent it to my younger brother who sold it for $75 and bought another one in bad condition for $55. He did not consult me at all. I would rather stick to the same phone who had accompanied me through my hard times.

Often we can go overboard when purchasing our gifts and for most occasions the simplest gifts are the nicest.
The Lark Designs Vintage Fabric Hair Clip from Lark Designs is one such product. “It is just a hair clip” you might say but add a stunning fabric and a vintage 1950s playing card and you have a gift that is not only created using recycled materials but a fantastic little stocking filler as well.
It is available from Ekidna Kids and retails for $10.
Keep it simple or is it?OK this is my brain storming time, sitting here thinking of 3 simple things (that works) I can do to get more listings????1. Post card mailing? Yes I can do a "just Listed" postcard of the property that I just listed. Send out 100 cards to the close by neighbors... but what if... there is no one within that area that is either interested in selling or is interested in my postcard!2. Cold Calling? Naw - next. I have to get over my fear of calling and getting hung up on! Plus check the DNC list, etc. 3. Emailing my sphere of influence? Well the last time I tried that, no hits. Can you help me out. I am having a mental block on what to do to get listings.... I welcome your suggestions. Please let your 3 simple things you do to get listings. Help me get out of this ru
...especially when it's raining! Ok, this idea won't satisfy everyone but it's worth a go. Last Friday, while the rain was lashing down, I took my lads to the main library off Municipal Square. Trust me, there's plenty to do there. Forget the stuffy old book image, libraries have changed. Computers, research areas, newspaper archives, up-to-date themes and displays, CDs, DVDs and video games. Libraries have the lot. And if you have young(ish) kids why not settle them down in the reading/colouring section. My monsters (lively at the best of times) enjoyed a half hour of drawing and colouring courtesy of the library's excellent facilities. There's a cosy area just for children (see snap) and the staff have ensured that the display material is guaranteed to captivate them. We had a browse around the books, yours truly had ten minutes with a digital camera guide, then the boys picked a Nintendo DS game to rent for the week. And guess what, you can now manage your account online, exte
Well, I have to say that Randi at I have to Say and more recently at her craft shop, Simple Things, is an incredibly industrious woman. I can practically hear her sewing machine humming away, all the way from here... and I'm in Canada! She is putting out some deliciously fantastic creations and I can't wait to unload them on all of you!Now... before I do, I must make a bit of an apology... I know this week is Apronpalooza! but I think I got carried away with Randi's absolutely adorable handbags and shopping bags... so you will have to listen to me gush about them as well because... well... they are just so wantable. She makes adorable aprons too, no doubt, but my goodness... I might just have to host a Handbagpalooza! sometime in the not so distant future! How does that idea sound to you all?So, first I'm going to take you on a trip through Simple Things Handbagland and then I'll come back to Randi's Apronland.I can see myself carrying fruits and veggies and wild honey in the
Two of the most important aspects of internet marketing include driving traffic to your website and then monetizing the traffic in some way. And one of the most lucrative ways to monetize traffic is to sell them your product or service.
Most people agree that driving qualified, targeted traffic to your website isn't always easy, but it is doable - and you don't want to waste the traffic you do get. For some traffic generation ideas, you can see my article on "50 Tips On Getting More Traffic To Your Website"
No matter whether you're selling a product or service, you want to make the most of the traffic you do get, and that involves increasing your websites conversion rate. While there are hundreds of things you can do to increase the percentage of visitors that convert into customers, the following list is what I consider 50 of the most influential elements. If there's something monumental that I left out and you feel it should be on the list, please feel free to post it as
There is more to network marketing than promoting a link, or sending out emails to potential customers. Those things will cover the marketing part, but what makes the marketer? There are few things that I think every marketer should follow, it's a list of simple things that can make all the difference in your marketing:Have a proper mindset: this is for EVERYONE who wants to achieve something, having a proper mindset is the most important yet the most overlooked point. Having the right mindset can make everything easier for you, it's amazing how things work out just right for people who are optimistic, people who set their mind to do something and do it. You know that you can do anything you want to do, so set your goals, have your plan and put it into action! Believe in your dream or no one else will.Work hard: this is not so simple but a lot of marketers fail because they don't devote enough time for their business. Working an hour every other day on your online business is not eno
Graduation date is pretty much decided by the school or the college but what about your graduation party date? Have you picked one yet? There's a couple of things to consider when you're picking the date for your graduation party. You have to consider both your family and your friends and pick a date that's going to work for them and you. Here's a list of 7 simple things to consider when you're planning your graduation party: 1. How long will it take to prepare for the party and which dates work best for your family? 2. Which dates work best for your relatives? Are they bringing any children who are still in school? Because a lot of towns celebrate all night party just after the graduation ceremony. 3. Are there other parties or events going on around that time? If so when? Check out with your school for end of the year banquets. Talk to your coaches, teachers and advisers for information on other sort of events not listed in your school district calender. Check in with Church

Forget the rampant labeling of Zero 7 as the "British Air," because Simple Things is a debut album that stands on its own as a chilled, subtle collection of organic songs. There are hints of Air, but there are equally relevant comparisons that might be made with Morcheeba, Rae & Christian, Nightmares on Wax, and early Massive Attack. Indeed, after
