Hace un mes aproximadamente, una amiga internauta me había informado sobre una posible visita de Sigur Rós a la Ciudad de México para deleitar a todos sus fans con una presentación en el Teatro de la Ciudad o en el Teatro Metrpólitan. Hoy, revisando Everything Live, descubrimos que ya está más que cocinado el concierto de la banda islandesa en México. Pero al parecer el concierto no será en la ciudad, será en "alguna parte de Morelos" como se menciona en el sitio. Hay que esperar más detalles, de los cuales apenas se desprende la fecha del concierto: 7 de Junio, así que anótenlo en sus agendas.

Este viernes 22 de Febrero (mañana, y probablemente hoy si ya es viernes y apenas estan leyendo esto) la Universidad Iberoamericana proyectara el documental de Sigur Rós 'Heima' como clausura del Festival Internacional de Cine Universitario. Será gratis, en el estacionamiento 1 de la universidad y lo padre es que se proyectará con Auto Cinema. Ustedes llegan, se estacionan, tendrán enfrente una pantalla gigante, y el audio lo recibirán sintonizando Ibero 90.9 Radio, en F.M. Ahora que también está la posibilidad de andar a pie, o acostados, o como quieran, siempre y cuando lleven consigo un aparato receptor de F.M., por que de lo contrario se quedan sin audio. La cita es a la 8 p.m. en el Estacionamiento 1 de la Universidad Iberoamericana, en Santa Fe, México.

Apenas hace unos pocos días, la banda Islandesa Sigur Rós visitó la ciudad de N.Y. con motivos de su nuevo DVD 'Heima' y al mismo tiempo el staff de National Public Radio los invitó para una entrevista con Luke Burbank en su programa en vivo “The Bryant Park Project”. Esta entrevista resultó ser un fracaso para la estación y no diré por qué, simplemente les dejaré el video para que la vean.El mismo crew de National Public Radio publicó un post acerca de esta situación y les dejamos aquí la liga para que lean lo que ellos opinan. There is a huge set of anticipated releases coming up for Sigur Rós and it's creating quite a confusion in my head. I want to keep track cause I love these guys, so here's my attempt at updating you! A double compilation with previously unreleased tracks will be coming out on the 6th, called Hvarf-Heim, which includes regular and acoustic studio versons. On the 20th, the Iceland tour DVD, Heima, will be released. To help you get excited for the Hvarf-Heim , a single was released on monday called Hljómalind, which used to be Rokklagið. And finally a CD+DVD of the Odin's Raven Magic, the orchestral Icelandic 02 piece, will be dropping hopefully sometime in January.
