In roughly 30 days I'll be trading the Atlantic ocean for the Pacific ocean. Unfortunately, AnnabelleDickson will not be coming with me. As you can imagine I have quite a lot to do over the next month.AnnabelleDickson has been a wonderful outlet of expression and creativity the last two years but I've decided not to continue the blog. Thank you to the few hardy souls that have stuck it out with me.I wish every one a healthy and happy holiday season.

Signing Off on IBM Lotus Forms 3.0
IBM spruces up its electronic forms software at what may turn out to be the expense of competitors Microsoft and Adobe. IBM unveiled on Oct. 2 a new version of its electronic forms software that allows users to create, fill out, sign and submit forms data via a Web browser without downloading additional software. Lotus Forms 3.0, announced at the IBM Lotus Collaboration Summit, in Washington, employs an AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript And XML)- (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML)-based wizard for its interface, which communicates with back-end systems. This enables customers to prepopulate forms with existing system information, thereby reducing errors associated with manual data entry, said Antony Satyadas, senior strategist for IBM Lotus, based in Armonk, N.Y. Thanks to digital signature technology from Silanis Technology, Forms 3.0 allows users to use an electronic signature pad or swipe cards and fingerprint scanners to digitally sign the form. After a long two months doing this blog, it’s time for me to go. I had a lot of fun writing some of the posts that were on here, and I had even more fun reading your responses. Readership of this blog went up like crazy (a little over double what it was before), so at least a few of y’all out there liked it. For that, I am immensely happy. I couldn’t be more proud. Now that I’m done breaking my arm patting myself on the back, I want to thank the readers of this blog, a few of the folks who sent me tips on stuff to write, and lastly the folks at 451 Press, who gave me a shot at writing professionally about my hobby and passion. I don’t plan to do another blog anytime soon, but I am an automotive enthusiast and web nerd, so there’s a chance you might see my name again somewhere. Until then… –Will Thompson

Today will be my last post as the full time writer for automotiveblogger.net. I have had a lot of fun writing this blog, have learned a lot and hopefully have entertained and educated a few readers. I want to thank everyone who helped to get this blog off the ground and help it to become a very successful site for 451 Press. I would also like to thank the staff at 451 for giving me the opportunity to write for them, and I wish them great success in the future. Maybe one day down the road I will be able to write a guest blog or two. Until then… -Bill Mertz GT40, racing, Ford, LeMans

Hello bloggers,Unfortunately (as you may have been able to notice with the lack of posting from my side), real life has overcome my internet life and I no longer have the luxury of continuing to contribute to the blog. It's very sad to see this come to an end and I have made wonderful friendships through our common interests. How exciting is everything Tina started? How much of a roller-coaster ride did she take us on? That's something I'll never forget.Thank-you Tina, for your support, friendship and kindness (that side will not end) and for starting the blog. Thanks Abi for stepping in and really carrying on the great things that have happened so far. I look forward to really meeting both of you (in person) in the future. I will still hang around the forum as much as I can, but as far as posting goes, this is the last one from me unfortunately! So, indeed it is not goodbye, but as the french have it, "Au Revoir!"
