The official Alone in the Dark website is now host to the 'Sinister Sightings' photo competition. Open to visitors from Europe, US and Australia, the competition invited photographers to upload their original photos of creepy and bizarre scenes witnessed in parks. Prizes include the chance to win soundtrack CDs and ultimately an Xbox 360 console. Online voting will determine the photo of the week, with each winner receiving an original soundtrack CD composed by Olivier Deriviere and featuring the Hungarian choir. It is a freewheeling site, and I signed into his directory, which is nicely done. He has a blog, and many articles, but what I like best is his authentic and knowledgeable gardener's voice. He also experiments with the web media, having a website, a blog, e-books, and podcasting...and don't forget photographs, he has lots photos and invites you to submit yours. This isn't really super spectacular or anything but I wanted to share my experience anyway. It was late June of 1999 and about 4 of us decided to go horseback riding right at dusk. We went to the barn and geared up the horses and headed out to our usual riding trails. By then it was dark and to get to the trails we had to ride down the main entry road to the farm and across one of the fields.

I happened to took this photo with my Nokia HP when i was stopped at a traffic junction near my house. I just had to stop my car to take another photo. How about rainbow surrounding the sun?
