Veteran readers of this blog will remember a text I wrote some months ago on the Brazilian showers. We came back from our recent trip to Arraial with a new and fascinating adventure to share with you. DJIBOUTI CITY, Djibouti, May 17, 2007 — An Army general and personnel from Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa visited a local baby orphanage and hospital in Djibouti City, May 5, 2007, to donate 28 boxes of baby clothes and hospital equipment.
At the orphanage, Army Brig. Gen. Keith Thurgood, 337th Theater Support Command deputy commanding general, and the other military personnel held, fed and played with the 50 babies who live there.
The babies enjoy the attention, the nurses appreciate the help, and the HOA personnel enjoy being able to provide some tender loving care to even the littlest people of Djibouti.

In between the showers yesterday it was quite sunny so I decided that I would make the most of the sunny spells and go to Granville Nature Reserve . It is situated in Donnington just outside of Telford. The whole site has a very industrial past and it was the last deep mine in Shropshire closing in 1979. As a result of the mining activity lots of mounds and spoil heaps are dotted all over creating little eco habitats throughout the reserve.A rather heavy shower had just ended when I got there and the sun had come out, the hawthorn blossom caught my eye as it was glistening with the rain whilst some of it was still in shadow. Well people its official... i am the last one to make the step to getting hitched! This past week my baby brother got engaged! While im more then happy for him and my soon to be sis in law (who i adore) i cant help but think...but but i was supposed to be first!! My older bro beat me to that about 9 years ago lol... but my baby bro?? bah i guess i should just thank my lucky stars that i haven't settled thus far huh lol...Here's an update in case any of you have followed my break up.... yeah we are in talks to get back together and yes i am happy about this as ive seen change and feel that there is hope going forward.... God i hope im right!!!Today makes it 9 months and counting... hmm am i supposed to count the 2 months we were broken up but talking?? Here in the Northeast it's clear that home sellers are taking a hiatus.
Perusing just about any town in the Boston metro area using the Inventory Tracking Tool clearly shows MLS inventories at the lowest levels since the tool became available last May.
Sellers have obviously pulled their listings until spring in hopes of reentering the market in a more favorable environment.
Unfortunately though, this practice is occurring in droves so unless buyers turn out as well, things will end up right where they were last spring except with an even greater numbers of homes for sale.
