Just as i was biking,in my residential Area,just for fun; i saw few kids playing marbles
or gotis or kanchas.. whatever you call them.I haven't saw anybody playing Marbles in
last 10 years. so watching these small kids,playing marbles was quite fascinating and
resilient experince.
This game of shooting Marbles was my best pass-time when i was in 3rd or 4th class.
After coming from school, i used
"Shooting Stars"Completed: 10.25.07Artist Pen Marker on Paper4" x 4"I completed this artwork while on break from my job. I really have liked using markers as a medium for small drawings. Of course, my famous swirls come out again - (notice a re-occuring theme?) I started with just the moon at the top of the page with the swirls, but I wasn't sure what the swirls would be pointing down towards. So, I created some stylized shooting stars coming out of the swirls with a couple of city buildings below. Hope I can find time to create more of these soon!Shannon
