There are several options you have.
Option 1 - buying new lights with standard bulbs
Pros - cheaper to buy, warm light
Cons - high energy consumption (your electricity bill will be higher, more CO2, SO2, NOx, etc. emissions), risk of fire if near the fabric, you probably end up buying new lights next year because they brake more often (more rubbish in landfills)
Option 2 - buying LED lights
Pros - they consume only 10% of electricity and live 10 times longer compared to standard lights, no risk of fire if near fabrics or burns if accidentally touched
Cons - more expensive to buy (but they save on electricity), colder light
Option 3 - not buying new lights at all

This week, the Chinese announced they were planning on diversifying their $1.3 trillion dollars into other currencies. Everyone began bemoaning doom and gloom, but I seem to remember a few years ago that everyone was concerned with the amount of US Dollars China had. In addition, China has kept their currency intentionally low against the world’s currencies as they have exploded.
So, the US has naturally low dollar values, making it cheap for people to buy dollars. The Chinese have announced they are thinking about selling these dollars. If this is gun rattling, nothing has changed. If this is the truth, then it is probably good for the long term health of the Dollar.
On top of this mess. China has been shipping over games with pieces coated in date-rape drugs.

I understand the necessity of keeping the floors clean and shiny, but putting out warning signs to tell everyone that they are slippery? Why do they have to be so slippery? I understand the ascetics of the clean, fresh appearance for the "Clean Room" effect. In our plant, we have over 2000+ people that work here and lots of them go up the stairs to the Fab area. We have three flights of stairs with about 20 steps in them. They have placed signs out saying to hold onto the rails as they might be slippery. That is CRAZY!! Making the stairs that slippery is just a lawsuit in the making. With as many people that go up and down them, one would think that they would want to keep them clean with enough friction so that people can walk them without the chance of falling.
