Sheryl Crow made a successful comeback album with songs which are environmentally and politically driven but they aren’t shallow or just dealing with today’s headlines either. I have never been a fan of Sheryl but this album is definitely into me. Just like some companies using blogs as a marketing tool to connect with their audience and target psychographics, I hope this album serves as a wake up call and at the same time an inspiration for every artists and producers to globally and socially make awareness of what’s happening nowadays, because this kind of media is a very good venue to communicate with the audience. But then again, with all fairness and equality, I find this album very predictable. It was just a consolation that she’s undeniably a talented singer/songwriter by pr

Sheryl Crow’s son is preventing her from having a sex life. The singer adopted nine-month-old Wyatt in May last year, and says the baby is already dictating who is allowed to sleep over. She said: “I have been dating. But Wyatt is going to be quite the little gatekeeper when it comes to who gets to stay!”Sheryl - who split from her cycling champion fiancé Lance Armstrong in February 2006 after a two-year relationship - also revealed she has a very specific idea of the man she wants to spend her life with. She said: “Over the years, I’ve been attracted to people who were much more egocentric. Now I’m ready for someone who’s not so consumed by his own life. I want a partner committed to give and take.”The 46-year-old star also said she feels her new album, her first record si

“Money’s got no hold on me”. Easy to say when you’re making music this good. Folks are bound to play this song. A lot. And that’ll make Sheryl lotsa money =:-). And there’s nothing wrong with that. Been a long time since I’ve heard a sonically open-sounding song like this from Sheryl, and I am very happy to hear it. Shoutouts for Out Of Our Heads (And Into Our Hearts), the happiest anti-war song I’ve heard this year, Detours & Beautiful Dream. Powerful, fun, and exciting back to roots album. Sheryl Crow

If It Makes You Happy".
Sheryl Crow, la cantante estadounidense, En la entrega de los Grammy de 1997 consiguió el premio a Canción del año por "All I wanna do" que fue el primer single del disco "Sheryl Crow" publicado el 2005.
I know this is just an incredibly unflattering picture of Sheryl Crow, but she does look like a tranny and since I wasn’t too crazy about Sheryl Crow to begin with, I will confidently say that she’s on a one-way train to fuglytown.

After a full day of work in real estate, the last thing I could have imagined was going to a concert at the Scene Pavilion. Okay, the PD Pavilion. Had an unexpected invitation to see Sheryl Crow perform there and that was an offer I could not possibly refuse. Thank you Mark and Cyril for the invitation.Sheryl Crow still inspires, still sings with that smoky, lush voice that hasn't lost it's luster. She seemed wonderfully healthy after her 2006 bout with cancer. And her band is phenomenal. Due to the wonders of the Internet, you can see photos from tonight's (okay, last night's) concert on her official website here.I fantasize about still going to concerts when I am 85. As I gazed at the Bingham and the Federal Court House, the River and the beautiful moon tonight, I wondered at how fabulous our City's resources are; the natural beauty, the man made wonders that are the iron bridges and the architecture. I hope we never squander those resources for any reason. Peace Out - 3C
Sheryl Crow and her son, Wyatt (who is one month old), are featured on the cover of OK! Magazine. Reps from the mag would not disclose the terms of the deal for the Sheryl/Wyatt photo shoot, but Sheryl had mentioned on her website that she agreed to do the shoot after OK! offered to make a “generous donation” to the World Food Program, a United Nations organization that works to fight child hunger.

You just feel like nesting and making sure he’s acclimated to the world. It is all so fascinating.”Sheryl on her new title as Mom: “My mom would hand him to me and say, ‘Here’s your mommy.’ It was really poignant (and very startling) to hear my mom call me Mommy. It took me a while to get used to it.”Sheryl on her favourite Mommy moment: “Waking up in the middle of the night and seeing him next to me and realizing, ‘Oh, he’s still here! How fantastic! Sheryl Crow's fresh, updated spin on classic roots rock made her one of the most popular mainstream rockers of the '90s. Her albums were loose and eclectic on the surface, yet were generally tied together by polished, professional songcraft. Crow's sunny, good-time rockers and world-weary ballads were radio staples for much of the '90s, and she was a perennial favorite at Grammy time. Although her songwriting style was firmly anchored to the rock tradition, she wasn't a slave to it -- her free-associative, reference-laden poetry could hardly have been the product of any era but the '90s. Her production not only kept pace with contemporary trends, but sometimes even pushed the envelope of what sounds could be heard on a classicist rock album, especially on her self-titled sophomore effort. All of this made Crow one of the most dependable stars of the decade, and she showed no signs of relinquishing her hard-won success in the new millennium.Sheryl Suzanne Crow was born February 11
After extensive research, Sheryl Crow has decided to revise her previous recommendation that Americans only use one square of toilet paper per day.
"I've decided that one-square per bathroom visit is inadequate for many Americans. I've tripled the previous suggestion to three squares. This does not take away from the fact that while Americans only make up 5% of the world's population, they use 40% of the world's toilet paper."
Sheryl Crow contracted a research firm to investigate the feasibility of her one-square plan. Thirty-five test subjects were chosen at random, given different amounts of toilet paper, and locked in an observation chamber for one month. People received different diets representative of typical American cuisine.
"We found that while one square was adequate for some, many needed more," said public relations manager Doris Hurtada. Apparently, Crow's previous research didn't take into account Southern food choices. "Those subsisting primarily on Slim Jims

In an effort to let Sheryl Crow know that we the people, do not intend to stick to “one square per use”, fracas has decided to create TTPP, otherwise known as The Toilet Paper Posse. What will TTPP do? Why, we will scour the internet to find that which celebrates toilet paper use - and lots of it! Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow will keep us from our task.. we will burn the midnight oil (’cause yeah… that ain’t environmentalist either) searching, and while doing so we will consume endless cups of coffee and eat countless bags of all things deep-fried in order to create a desperate need for… additional toilet paper usage.
We’ve heard her ideas and we know the folly of her ways. Toilet paper is a necessity of life, and just look what can happen when people are deprived: Man kills roomate over lack of toilet paper!
Honestly Sheryl… do you want things like this on your conscience?
I don’t think so.
So.
I shall lead the Posse, with
Sheryl Crow has decided that the best way to stop global warming is to pass limitations on how much toilet paper may be used per sitting. Thank God we have such intellectuals in Hollywood and the music industry to guide us through our lives and to tell us what is good for us.
Just remind me not to shake her hand if I ever meet her.
From the article:
Crow has suggested using “only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required”.
“I propose a limitation be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting.”
So, who would decide which occasions would warrant two squares?
That is not the only paper product she proposes doing away with:
Crow has also commented on her website about how she thinks paper napkins “represent the height of wastefulness”.
So how does she propose doing away with napkins? You won’t believe this, but here is her solution:
She has designed a
Sheryl Crow has been smokin the Al Gore spliff and she has been inhaling. She had an idea as she claims that will help the vast deforestation of the planet. When you visit the washroom, toilet, comode, bathroom, restroom, john, lavatory, ladies, gents, powder room, water closet, public convenience, latrine, or the privy you restarin yourself and use only one square or piece of toilet paper. Her blog post can be seen here.
To quote: “Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind, worth investigating. One of my favorites is in the area of forest conservation which we heavily rely on for oxygen. I propose a limitation be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting. Now, I don’t want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3
‘In light of Sheryl’s recent campaign to have us all using only one square of toilet tissue at a *ahem* sitting, Rosie O’Donnell took a moment on this morning’s “The View” to express her incredulity at the supposedly enviro-friendly suggestion, asking Crow, “Have you seen my ass?!”
The good folks at TMZ were able to add to that tidbit, noting that “Barbara Walters was good enough to warn viewers not to use their sleeves, another of Crow’s helpful suggestions”. What they didn’t specify, was that Barbara wasn’t advising viewers not to use their sleeves as toilet tissue, but was referring to another of Crow’s stupid ideas where people would wear “dining sleeves” instead of using napkins which Crow says are wasteful. The sleeve would then be washed after use.
Ahem… Sheryl. We already have those. They’re called cloth napkins. Oddly, they haven’t caught on in the fast food estab
so, sheryl crow's doing a global warming awareness tour, and she and laurie david (wife of larry david) stopped into the white house correspondents' dinner...where they got into a debate on global warming with the turd blossom himself, mc rove. david blogged about it saying:In his attempt to dismiss us, Mr. Rove turned to head toward his table, but as soon as he did so, Sheryl reached out to touch his arm. Karl swung around and spat, "Don't touch me." How hardened and removed from reality must a person be to refuse to be touched by Sheryl Crow? Unphased, Sheryl abruptly responded, "You can't speak to us like that, you work for us." Karl then quipped, "I don't work for you, I work for the American people." To which Sheryl promptly reminded him, "We are the American people."mc rove just got served by the "all i wanna do is have some fun" woman. sweetness.
Grammy winning singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow, who looks pretty darn good for her mid-‘40s, is taking a page out of Al Gore’s “save the world” manual. The rocker has hopped in a biodiesel-powered bus to encourage U.S. students to help preserve the environment. "I am here because the more I learn about global warming, the more I feel compelled to do something in my own way," she said.
My yesterdays are all boxed up and neatly put awayBut every now and then you come to mindCause you were always waiting to be picked to play the gameBut when your name was called, you found a place to hideWhen you knew that I was always on your sideWell everything was easy then, so sweet and innocentBut your demons and your angels reappearedLeavin' all the traces of the man you thought you'd beLeavin' me with no place left to go from hereLeavin' me so many questions all these yearsBut is there someplace far away, someplace where all is clearEasy to start over with the ones you hold so dearOr are you left to wonder, all alone, eternallyThis isn't how it's really meant to beNo it isn't how it's really meant to beWell they say that love is in the air, but never is it clear,How to pull it close and make it stayButterflies are free to fly, and so they fly awayAnd I'm left to carry on and wonder whyEven through it all, I'm always on your sideBut is there someplace far away, someplac

Rocker SHERYL CROW was stunned to discover the horse which helped her through her breast cancer battle a year ago (06) is pregnant, after failing to realise how fat she was getting. The SOAK UP THE SUN singer rode SALLY, the horse she houses at her ranch in Nashville, Tennessee in Los Angeles to cheer herself up during lows in her treatment, and was perplexed when the normally dependable beast started tripping on rides recently. She says, "The woman that was boarding her thought she was just so fat and I kept thinking, 'She doesn't look that fat to me.' And she kept tripping, and this is a very dependable horse."I kept having vets come out and they all kept saying, 'She looks really fat.' And I kept saying, 'She can't be pregnant because there's not been any stallions around.' "It turns out that I didn't realise that horses have an 11 month gestation period, so she was pregnant."The way I found out was the baby kicked me, kicked my leg.The vet came and checked her again and Sal
