If you’re from down under and want a Palm Treo Pro but aren’t the biggest fan of the dollar-thirsty telephone operator known as Telstra, then you don’t have to wait too long now before getting your hands on a vanilla Treo Pro in the shops. Rocks and ShellsWe stopped along a stretch of the ocean that was really a part of a large bay. There is a spot for cars to park, and we walked along the rocky shore. Not much sand in this area - but there were many rocks and snail shells of all shapes and sizes.By the color of these rocks, you can see that many of them are broken bricks.I am not quite sure why they were all here. In the last period I was surfing around for free *nix shells, sadly very few have been found! And no, I wasn’t looking for shells that would allow bouncers, eggdrops, or any stuff like that… just for the classic type of shells: some megas (even 10Mb would suffice), decent scripting languages enabled (php/perl/ruby) and some [...]
You can't buy a clean public shell in North America. I doubt you can buy a clean shell anywhere in the World. I offer a startup spinoff service because your spunoff public company is clean. Clean shells don't exist. Among the dirtiest of dirty shells are non-reporting shells. A shell is a company that's trading but lacks assets. Usually, the private company buys the shell and puts their business into it. It rarely works out well for the private company.
As I read Section 5 of the 1933 U. S. Securities Act, the only American stock that should be publicly traded are the shares of

A little more than a year ago, I woke up one morning remembering a dream that disturbed me so much, I couldn’t bear to think about it. The funny thing was, the dream wasn’t scary in any way; it didn’t involve jeopardy, threat or behavior that was morally questionable. In fact, I had no idea what it was about the dream that disturbed me so much. All I knew was, when I woke up and began to remember the dream, I immediately chose to do something that was totally uncharacteristic for me: I tried not to think about it. (Up until that point in time, I had always gleaned valuable insights about myself from my dreams -- especially since my first prescient dream in 1982 at the age of twenty-one. As a result, not only was I good at remembering my dreams, but I had become very efficient at iden

Some of my readers are blessed to live at the beach... the rest of us only get to visit every year or two. LOL. This morning on one of my other blogs I post a great idea for displaying those shells, sharks teeth, crab claws and other 'treasures' that our little ones find and insist we must bring home because they are so 'pretty'.
So - for a cheap but cool idea to display your childs 'treasures
When we began planning our trip to Florida I wasn’t that thrilled. Nothing against Florida you understand, it’s just that I’m not someone who lives for theme parks, they mean money and energy—two things that I’d rather not have to worry about when I’m on vacation. I want to lie on the beach all day and theme parks with children usually mean 1. constantly scoping out the nearest bathroom 2. buying expensive food then spending time cutting it up for small mouths 3. tying and retying small shoes and 4. timing everything around naps. But I’m kind of passed the pancake cutting-shoe tying-nap timing phase of life so since everyone was so keen on the roller coaster action there in the Sunshine State I decided to go along with the crowd. However, it wasn’t until a friend of mine

Chef Boyardee has a canned product out that doesn't contain milk! It does contain egg, soy & wheat however. Chef Boyardee Mini Bites Mini Pasta Shells & Meatballs is dairy free. This product is manufactured by Conagra.I have had prior experience with ConAgra foods and found that they are uncooperative at best in answering allergy questions. However, in their defense, many of their products comply with the FDA, stating clearly underneath the ingredients, which, if any, of the top eight allergens the product contains. In this respect, at least when I purchase foods manufactured by Conagra, I know I don't have to meticulously scan the label for hidden milk ingredients. I am disappointed that neither Conagra nor Chef Boyardee list ingredients on their websites. It is an exciting moment
What is an Operating System? An operating system, or OS, is software that enables you to operate the computer. It manages the opening of files, the monitor display, printing, access to networks, and so on. The chances are you are using a version of Windows as your operating system, but this is not the only OS available. Others include the various versions of linux (such as Ubuntu) which are generally available for free, and OSX, which is the latest operating system for Apple Macs. The various operating systems will tend to look different from one another, they will store files in different ways, and will also run different programs. So, a program written for Windows will not work on Linux unless it is run through an emulator or another piece of software that acts like a translator, such as

Found a small place on the coast that was filled with different kinds of beautiful shells. I had to take a picture of a selection of the shells.
Anyone know what the shells are called?

These shells are called Ocean Quahog (Arctica islandica) and I had to take a photo of them because I liked the way the pair was placed on the sandy beach.
In Norwegian we call them Cow-Shells, probably because of their beautiful red/brown color.
According to the Norwegian Wikipedia (the English version doesn’t have an article about ocean quahog shells) there have been found individuals of these shells that are as old as 220 years!
Check out my macro photo of a limpet shell.

Birds have no teeth, yet must somehow grind the food they eat for digestion. For this, they swallow grit which is stored in the crop. Birds scavenging along the edge of the road are frequently searching for grit. It is generally widely available in nature, but can be a little more difficult to find in the winter when the ground is covered with snow. Offering this necessary resource can make your feeding station more desirable to a greater diversity of bird species.
Grit can actually be purchased from a wildlife habitat store and of course there are special feeders designed just for holding it. Crushed oyster shells can also be purchased which have the added benefit of providing calcium to your birds.
There is another source, however, which is frequently overlooked: egg shells. Offering egg shells to your birds is easy and free. Just follow these simple steps:
1. Peel the inner membranes away from the inside of the shells.
2. Boil or bake to sanitize.
3. Crush into small, bir
Serving notice that its claim two years ago was no fluke, Wal-Mart has recently donated a hefty sum of $1.5 million to the University of Arkansas to enhance the green research to help cut down various factors contributing towards the green issue today. These include the area of greenhouse gases and banking on sustainability.
This donation will of course go a long way considering that green research on how to contain such relevant green issues today are needed. Being at the forefront of it all, it is without a doubt that Wal-Mart is inclined to hold on to its promise to do its social responsibility towards the world today.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - University of Arkansas researchers will study how retailers can cut greenhouse gases and be more environmentally friendly, thanks to $1.5 million from Wal-Mart Stores Inc., school and company officials announced Wednesday.

Griffin and vegetables is an oxymoron in my house, we all know that. He’s just not into them. Yes, he will eat them, but only in the most perfunctory manner, and with much griping and frowning. I hold out hope that one day he will understand how wonderful they are, but I don’t blame him for not eating them. He is, after all, a teenager, and being 13 gives one a built in excuse to be difficult. I just like to look at it as him exerting his own interests. He has no clue how good he has it; he never gets served wilted broccoli the color of GI Joe and smelling like old seaweed, he doesn’t ever have to face overcooked cauliflower that stinks like a wet animal and falls off your fork in sadness, and spinach in our house still has crunch, and green color. Growing up with overcooked frozen vegetables was kinda gross and didn’t exactly endear my tastes to them at all, thank goodness; you might not even believe me if I told you that I myself had to learn how to enjoy fre

Being left-handed reduces one's choice in guns quite a bit. An autoloader, for instance, that ejects spent shells right in front of one's face has never seemed like a good idea, even though it is probably not really dangerous. We have never seen an autoloader with the ejection port on the left side, but now we have found an even better solution - the auto-loading shotgun that ejects spent shell straight down. We want to give Remington a big hand for eliminating the left/right problem altogether. The Remington 105 CTi has also has newly designed inner workings in kevlar and titanium to save weight and extensive recoil reduction. Expect to pay somewhere around USD 1,300:-.
I'm hoping Andrew doesn't read this post because then my secret will be out. I found this recipe in a back issue of Cooking Light and tweaked it here and there and now it's even better. Their secret ingredient? Tofu! I know, I know, I have a hard time with the stuff myself but with the sundried tomatoes and lamb marinara the flavors overpower the tofu so you can't tell it's there.Sneaky, huh?The recipe called for turkey sausage, which I used, but I also threw in lamb leftover from our Easter meal (see the recipe for rosemary-honey glazed roast leg of lamb) and it was a tasty addition. Gave the sauce a strong, hearty flavor and a meatiness that the tofu needed. Of course all the health benefits of the low-fat tofu were probably canceled out by the lamb, but then I never promised I was fat free.So here it is, enjoy!filling:1/4 c boiling water1 8-ounce jar sundried tomatoes1 cup mozzarella1/4 cup Parmesan1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper1/8 teaspoon saltdash of nutmeg8-1

Two days ago I blogged about Starbucks NYC dumping trans fat. While eating my favorite meal tonight, I just happened to grab the box of Old El Paso Stand-and-Stuff crispy corn tortilla shells.
I flipped out when I read that there are 2.5 grams of trans fat in 2 taco shells. I'm not fat, but I love my tacos and I eat 4 in one sitting. We eat tacos once a week. It's one of my favorite meals. Damn you delicious crispy taco shells! Ignorance is bliss.
The 4 remaining shells are now in the trash.
But this just goes to show how easy it is to be careless! Grrrrr...
Why is it that we are never satisfied with the paintings we make. I look at this one and I love the feel of it. I like its brightness and its texture, but something keeps me from saying I am fully satisfied with it. Perhaps we are not meant to be satisfied with the things we create. We are not mean to sit back and say "Its a good thing"!More to come on the beach theme. I am still struggling with the water and this Fabriano paper!
Bulga burst onto the scene a few years ago with their excessively studded butterfly bag, seen on the arms of virtually everyone. But since then, most Bulga creations have been fairly stud free, and now it seems Bulga is relying on odd shapes for its new designs. This shoulder bag from the new Spring collection appears to be the long lost cousin of the clam. The multiple pockets conjure up images of a collection of shells piled up on the beach, and the pinkish-beige tone only adds to that effect. It seems that 'Under the Sea' is one of the new themes for Spring, since tons of other designers are gluing shells, seahorses, and other underwater finds on their bags. This one is not too obvious; just underwater inspired. And it's refreshing to see Bulga try something new, even though I'm still not sure I like it.
