Sheba is a very beautiful German shepherd mix, female, about 9 years old. Her foster family says she's an excellent companion and a very sweet lady. She gets along well at her foster home with another dog and a cat.She loves daily walks and enjoys being outdoors. Like many senior Shepherds, she does have some joint problems and a degenerative spinal condition that is quite common for older dogs of her breed. Sheba should go to an adult home without small kids or stairs, and she is very attentive and understand most commands.Sheba is currently being cared for by the Mississauga Humane Society in Mississauga, Ontario.For more information about Sheba, click here!
Best known for her role as Lt. Anita Van Buren on TV’s “Law and Order,” Caramel Bella S. Epatha Merkerson will return to Broadway this season. Theater fans can see the talented actress in the Manhattan Theatre Club revival of William Inge’s “Come Back, Little Sheba”. Additional casting for the play will be announced later.
The show opens January 24th at the Biltmore Theatre. Merkerson will play the start role of Lola, a lonely housewife. AP news reported that “the original 1950 production starred Shirley Booth, who won a Tony for her performance and then an Academy Award for the 1952 movie version.”
The Tony Award-nominated and Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and Emmy Award-winning American actress is no newcomer to Broadway. In 1990, she starred in August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, “The Piano Lesson”. I’ve always been against feeding my pets food that looks fancier than what I eat, which I think this free Sheba cat food falls into. I mean, what’s up with these commercials of cats eating food off silver platters and having butlers serve their food to them. I’m lucky if I can find a TV dinner in the back of the freezer that won’t explode in my microwave. Then I get to sit down and enjoy the delicious rubbery texture and the mouth watering flavor of cardboard. Yummy! The last thing I need is to be eyeing Fluffy’s dinner and plotting how I’m going to steal it from her.

That's what the vet told us. We are now going on over a month of surgery and recovery of Sheeba. Yesterday was the first day in a very very long time that we let her outside to potty, we were afraid crazy dog would re injure herself. The doctor wants us immediately after Sheeba gets done with her pain killers to put her on Prozac......There is puppy Prozac, but he and his colleges believe that with her hyper activity level she needs people Prozac.After a few nights ago when a large thunder storm came through, we are definitely in agreement with the Doctors opinion. Banshee is terrified of large bangs, especially thunder, we tranquilize him during storms. We think that it has something to do with his breed and their association with wars. Banshee was trying to hide from the claps of thunder and Sheeba trying to relate I think?? would mimic everything Banshee did.
