Here is a living proof that reality TV shows can indeed bring out talented singers to the spotlights. Winner of the UK talent show, The X Factor, for 2005, Shayne Ward is just a musical wonder. Even though he may still be considered a youngster having produced only his debut album, he is by far way above the average. He has one of the most extraordinary voices I’ve heard in a long time. He also sings with such passion you can almost say this guy’s been through what’s he’s singing about.
The song in this post is from his debut self-titled 2006 album. It’s called A Better Man. It kind of reminds me of my old favorite Robbie William’s song: Better Man. Speaking of whom, Robbie has made a comment that Shayne Ward is on his way to become a "future star". That’s big coming from such a international musical icon.

Well the next series of X Factor is due to start on TV very soon, so I thought I would see what the Former X-Factor star Shayne Ward was doing. There hasn't been a single released by him for a long time, and he doesn't seem to be on the main TV channels much, however he is still recording and in fact has a new single out on September 24th 2007. Don't know if I actually like the new single, but maybe when I have heard it a few more times I can decide lol. August and September see him featured in Heat magazine, Top of the pops magazine and a few others, so hopefully he's having a good comeback. I have included two videos below, one of of his hit single No Promises and the second one is actually from the X-Factor with him singing an amazing version of somewhere over the Rainbow.
