And the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
And the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
Then the socket packet pocket has an error to report.

I went to one of my friend's house to borrow some creamer for my coffee this morning and even in my pre-caffeinated foggy frame of mind, I could tell that she was pretty agitated even for her (she's a pretty excitable chick). I came to find out that the reason for the excitement was that she was trying to figure out how to make a Dr. Seuss hat out of some strips of red and white nylon fabric and cardboard. She didn't have a pattern to make a homemade Dr. Seuss hat, she was trying to wing it on her own with very little success. The fabric she was using was thin, slippery and her sewing machine was puckering the stitches. My initial suggestion was that she ditch the idea of using fabric of any kind and try her hand at making a paper Dr. Seuss hat for her child. She looked aghast and inf

Silly as this may sound, alot went through my mind when Teddybear and I decided to use the movie voucher tickets from Cathay to watch, "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!"
Although I felt a tickling sense of excitement, at the very same time, I was also a little reluctant, fearing it would be a total disappointment...
Yes. It's true. Almost everyone loves Horton! (Almost, but not everyone just yet.)

CHICAGO – One of Dr. Seuss’ most famous storybooks has finally been granted life with its self-titled animated feature “Horton Hears a Who!,” which involves a morally righteous elephant, philosophical timbre and Dr. Seuss’ ingenious lyrical rhymes.
A star-studded cast supports this vibrant tale and Dr. Seuss’ ethical elephant and morally slated advice about equality are well represented in this CG-animated adaptation.
The elephant Horton (Jim Carrey) comes to the rescue of a speck crying for help as it floats by in the colorful jungle of Nool. When Horton decides to help the speck even though he can’t see the Whos who inhabit it, the famous line “a person’s a person no matter how big or how small” comes into the film and sets the Suessian tone of the tale.

LOL!
This is a really stupid reason to choose this movie to protest...
All hell broke loose at the premiere of "Horton Hears a Who!" today when a group of pro-lifers infiltrated the screening, then chanted anti-abortion slogans after the flick.
The theme of the movie is based on the motto: "After all, a person is a person, no matter how small." So the pro-lifers thought it was a good idea to

My twins had fallen in love with Dr Seuss's book and I don't know why? Maybe the books are silly and funny. To me, the story line might be a little nonsensical and the pictures a little wried. But as long as the kids love to read, it is what really matters. We first read Dr Seuss's ABC:An amazing alphabet book and Hop on Pop during their toddler's years. The pictures are colourful, the words are huge and rythmed. I believe that's why they were very attracted to it and were generally able to sit through the session. But for toddlers who do not have long attention span, like my twin daughter, I would recommend that you read the books in a few session instead of one. After repeated readings, my twins started to recognise the alphabets and soon able to read simple words! I discovered that when t

Do You Know What I’m Going to Do Next Saturday?
Did you ever beat more than one kid at a time? Well, I’m going to beat five kids at a time. And then I’m going to beat their fathers, too.
Who was Helen Palmer, she wrote the above excerpt from her book "Do You Know What I’m Going to Do Next Saturday?" Helen was 64 when she wrote this little treasure for the Seuss world. She was the first wife of Dr. Seuss and four years later after the publication of the book she committed suicide after battling illness. ??? Not fabrication but true. You don’t see this little book in many places. When you read the book out of context without Lynn Fayman’s pictures you get a whole new world into the Seuss domain. Now talk about the hidden world of Dr. Seuss.
I’ll run around and yell and yell. Next Saturday I’ll yell my head off. I’ll blow horns. I’ll blow and blow. Next Saturday I&rs
Daisy-Head Mayzie is a Dr. Seuss book geared towards children released in 1995 that was also adapted for television, which I did not see. Apparently Dr. Seuss wrote this book at some time in the 60's, his widow found it after his death in 1991, and probably some money hungry publisher saw big bucks ... Voila! It sells like hotcakes.I'm not a huge Dr. Seuss fan and I just read the book yesterday with my first grader. I'm offended!I'm seriously offended by this book and it should NOT be marketed as a children's book. I know several people may seriously be laughing at this point but this is why I am offended:(Quote from book below)Then the door opened wide. And the Mayor stepped inside. At meetings and greetings there was none to compare. He was best at long speeches, chock-full of hot air!"I promise, my friends, that if I'm re-elected,This daisy on Mayzie will be disconnected. The law of our fathers is simple and sound,Daisies belong and should stay in the ground. The rest are illegal.

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living. It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope, which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.”Dr. Seuss (1904 – 91) U.S. cartoonist and writer
