Sensible World of Soccer Pulled From Live Arcade A game-crippling bug has prompted Codemasters to pull Sensible World of Soccer from Xbox Live Arcade mere hours after it was added to the service. The bug apparently signs players out of Xbox Live and prevents them from signing back in until they manually return to the dashboard. Microsoft and Codemasters are looking into the problem. If you've already downloaded it, you'll have to delete it and redownload it when the fixed version is added to the Arcade, assuming you want to be able to play over Live. Well, no, it’s one of the better times of year to be looking for a new house as everyone else is wrapped up inside in the warmth so you might find the prices a little lower than you expected.
One of the aims of the new property website PropertyToday.co.uk is to sell property of course but it’s a lot more complete than that. As well as the usual lists of properties for sale and rent, you’ll also find schools which a very practical touch missed out by all the other sites that I’ve seen. Also very appealing in principle is their local directory which lists all the service providers that you’d be wanting to find before, during and after your house purchase although this is one area where they need to work on to complete all the blanks so to speak.

Each week, I will test out two tips from the The Complete Tightwad Gazette, and on the following Wednesday I’ll review how they went and evaluate if it is worth my time/effort/money to continue with it.
This week we tested a few more of the “sensible substitute” recipes in the Tightwad Gazette. I like the idea of being able to create cheaper substitutes for the seasoning mixes and soup mixes we use all the time. Let’s see how it went!
Note: Because these recipes were almost entirely made up of spices I decided not to calculate the prices myself this time. I have a fully stocked cabinet of spices so I didn’t have to buy anything new and I don’t remember what I paid for some of these quite honestly. However, I have provided the Tightwad’s estimation of price for this round (I think they may be a bit outdated, though).

La universidad de Tokyo ha presentado en el Siggraph 2007 un brazo robótico que, con una serie de sensores, detecta propiedades de los objetos con los que interactúen como la forma, temperatura y tacto. Esta información podría ser interpretada por un guante robótico sensible al tacto con el que te sentirías como si estuvieses manipulando un objeto que está a miles de kilómetros de distancia en contacto con la mano robótica de la que ya he hablado.
Con este guante, el usuario podrá percibir interactuar con objetos o personas de una manera mucho más real a grandes distancias. Aumentará, tambien, el realismo al poder percibir las propiedades del entorno de una manera mucho más precisa. Así conseguirán facilitar tareas como la cirugía a distancia o el modelado 3D.

Very nice mare for a family horse...I've owned her for 12 years, and she is one of my favorites!
