Another year with a Yigal Amir festival has gone by. I have no grievances for Israeli media than I do for any other item. Reporters and news editors are simply reckless in their endless race for fating. They see no reason why the coverage of Yigal Amir should be any different than any other item, and in this I agree with them. The issue of whether prisoners of life-sentence should be allowed to procreate is worthy of debate, but is a different issue. Thanks to Hackosphere's excellent Blogger hack, I've now been able to use selective post summaries in some of my lengthier posts! Phew, what a relief! I hated having such long posts taking over my blog pages. Instead, you can now see summaries of each post and choose to read the whole post by clicking the "Read more..." link instead. He definetely expressed a bloggers genuine nightmare of too many outgoing links. I started to type my tip in his comments page, when I figured that the larger population may benefit with this tip. The the solution is very simple, and which I have used quite a bit in the Chilligavva site design. Place the code wherever you want such as the footer, sidebar, header, only make sure that you thought of the conditions correctly, and you close the braces correctly. View the tip in a text file.
