Here are six music videos shot as secret agent vignettes.
We’ll start back in the ’80s, with Pat Benetar’s Shadows of the Night. A bored factory worker during WWII pretends she’s a secret agent sent on a mission to blow up Nazi HQ. This is one of Pat’s best vocals, and a great music video for its time. Now it’s a bit dated.
The Beastie Boys can’t help but be a farce of themselves, and their video Body Movin is a perfect example. Their videos inspired videos by later artists, such as Offspring’s Pretty Fly (for a White Guy) and Foo Fighters‘ Learn to Fly.
Hip Hop seems to take the secret agent role more seriously, as can be seen in this video from the mid 90’s, Ready or Not by The Fugees.

I think the next 007 should be the 3 Musketeers Mint Bar with Dark Chocolate because it’s a master of disguise. Have you encountered this confectionery spy?
